Annual Family Snowmobile Trip
Our family got together in Baraga for our annual holiday snowmobile trip. House had plenty of room for the eight of us. Had a great time over the holidays.

Great Place!
We had a l large group from around Michigan. The Farmhouse is so beautiful. It is the prefect mixture of antique house with modern amenities. The communication with the owner was superb and we loved the extra touch of the extra blankets on our beds (it was a cold weekend but warm house), the marshmallows, the water in the fridge, and so much more. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful property and true farmhouse experience. When the weather cooperated, the stars were amazing! Very close to Lance (great breakfasts!) and Houghton/Michigan Tech.

Unique farmhouse experience.
The manager was pleasant to work with…the towels were soft and kitchen had all amenities. The mowed paths through the pasture were a nice surprise.

Biggest Snow Storm in 47 years and the best place to be stuck with my son!
I (46) took my son (12) on his first snowmobile trip that turned into an adventure. Keith (owner) was fanatic and I am definitely not accustomed to someone calling just to check on my well-being (he did). The Farmhouse brought back many memories and has just the right amount of necessary updates. Thanks again, Gary

Riding trip in the U.P
lots of trails nearby to ride dirt bikes and quads. the property does not come with access to the garage which is a downfall :( lots of rooms and beds great for a big group. barely any lights in kitchen made it hard to cook dinner. wasn’t the cleanest cabin i have been to .. over all not to bad though ! kitchen is not as stocked as I would have expected ! but still a great time

Nice Family Home
We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse. The owner was great with communication and the property was lovely. Our family of 9 plus dogs was very happy with our accommodations. The home does have a few quirks (low water pressure in one of the bathrooms, weird light switches, and dull knives) however the furniture is comfy, the location is optimal, and there is plenty of space. We are considering a second visit!

Snowmobiling in Baraga
The farmhouse is a great location for snowmobiling in this area. We had easy access to the trails north south east and west. Eight men slept comfortably. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was a great place to hang out.

Snowmobile trip
There was a group of us up there for a our annual snowmobiling trip. From our first communication to our last Keith was absolutely amazing to work with. He was quick to respond to our questions - and we had a lot - Keith was always polite and professional towards us. We use VRBO at least twice a year, Keith has been the best to work with so far. Keith gave us directions to the snowmobile trails - you will have to do some ditch hopping to get there. The house is is bigger on the inside than it looks. It is a little outdated, but it also helps keep the charm of the house. We loved the cozy feeling of the older farm house with the long table for everyone to eat together. The mud room was great we could all sit in there and take out gear off and not have to track it through the house. There was plenty of bedrooms for everyone and the beds are very comfy. The king bed feels like a cloud. Everyone agreed the beds are some of the better ones we have slept in at a VRBO. The property was fun to ride our sleds around. There was plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers and our sleds to sit out. There isn’t anyone close to the property so it was peaceful.

Plenty of room for group of 12
We stayed here two nights group of 10 adults and 2 preteenage boys.Everyone had a place to sleep. Place is clean and has everything you need. Could use a little bit of upgrading but has all the necessities.

Great location but kitchen is outdated
It's on a very secluded route and very big yard. The beds are nice, clean and comfortable. There are a lot of interesting antiques and decos around the house and fun to look at. However, given the price, I would expect an updated kitchen. It doesn't have dishwasher and provide less amenities than other places that we stayed during this trip. Most of the appliances are outdated and not easy to use for a big group of people.

Loved our Farmhouse stay in the Keweenaw Peninsula!
If you have a large family, this is a great place to stay! We stayed there and it is minutes to Lake Superior, half an hour to Hougton, and an hour some to Copper Harbour. We did day trips to see Waterfalls, Mines...etc. The farmhouse was great for our family...we had my mother, 2 couples, my nephew, and 4 kids from 1 year old to 17 years old. Plenty of room! Beds were so comfortable. Loved the farmhouse decor, the private setting...the fields & pond and antiques. We took neat photos. Splitting the cost with the family, it was about the same as a bunch of hotel rooms with a memorable experience. The homeowner was friendly...even though we didn't meet in person. We saw deer in the yard, found a bird nest...and listened to the sounds of nature. Cool experience!

Great location to explore all the ORV trails and routes in the area. Our group of 10 enjoyed the farm house. It’s a very private location with everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely Beautiful Getaway Perfect for a Large Group
The property is secluded and stunning. We had a group of 9 people, and there was plenty of space to come together or spread out. We were able to have bonfires every night, and did not have to worry about disrupting neighbors with the amount of people or being too loud. The property is only a few miles from Lake Superior, and we were able to find a few beaches and enjoy the water as well. This property is perfect for a secluded, large group getaway.

UP Vacation
The property was a great location, close to town but far enough away to be very quiet. The golf course is no longer maintained which was a draw for our group to the property. The house is an old farm house it was clean and met our needs. We had a great time in the UP and enjoyed the area.

Great place!!
The field behind the house is great to drive your snowmobiles. The owner stopped by upon our arrival for whoever wants to learn about the house. I personally looked to spend time with my friends and family in this amazing place. We had a great time so before we left we booked the following weekend too.

The farm house was a very nice place to stay!
The farm house is a very nice place to stay. It is cozy, in a remote setting, and only minutes from town. The house is clean, charming and has modern amenities. Keith was very friendly upon our arrival and shared the house’s history with us. The field behind the house was a fun place to play with the snowmobiles, especially after a fresh foot of snow! We had a great time and would highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you Keith!
