I decided to book this hotel because of excellent reviews..
So, what I liked: the room seemed clean; the bed was very comfortable; location was good: 15 min walk to Casa Batllo, 2 min walk to 59 bus e.g; breakfast had quite ordinary selection of food, nobody was hungry I guess.
What I didn't like: the interior was very gloomy, lots of black , not to be bothered with cleaning?
the room needs attention I assume, scratches in the shower, old towels, holes in the tiles in some places.
Also I was asked to put a deposit in case of damage but guys, the wall lamp was barely holding, also the switch didn't work. But with all these I can live it is not quite a big deal for me.
My biggest disappointment was a cockroach in our bathroom. I told about it and showed the pictures to the staff and a guy said: "What can we do, we can send someone to look at it". Cool, I also looked at it the next morning.
So and it crossed out all that cleanliness.
Poor communication , I think it is because of poor English language knowledge.
For 3 nights stay nobody asked if everything was Okey and if I like my stay.
