The property overall was great. The property has security cameras and a security system. We stayed on the first floor and at night it was a bit noisy due to the elevator being right next to the room. That didn't bother us but I can see how that might be an issue for some. Because we came in January, it was cold in Barcelona and the property had no heating. It got quite cold in the property but as long as you have warm clothes, you should be fine. The shower has hot water but it does run out quite quickly so we had to take fast showers. The mattresses were very hard and stiff. It was not comfortable at all. The pillows were very thin and flat. We stayed there for 3 nights and every morning we woke up with our backs hurting. Our kids had a hard time too. Besides that, the staff was extremely friendly and we felt very safe in the property. The Japanese restaurant “Nami” was a few stores down and it was really good food! The Sagrada Familia, the beach, and the Barcelona Cathedral were all within walking distance between 10-30 minutes. We didn't utilize public transport all that much so I’m unable to comment on that. We walked everywhere and I felt like this location was a good location!

Check in was a nightmare, unable to check in despite numerous calls. The emailed check in codes were all incorrect for the door and lockbox. I was even there during office hours and they told me since room was not ready to come back later after my tour was done and that the key will be awaiting me in the lockbox. I came back and code was incorrect. Made 5 calls over several hours at night and still no help only on hold. Finally got it to work after midnight already.

The apartment is really comfortable, plenty of room but it is starting to show some age, for example the slats in one of the beds were bent and out of place and the dryer did not work, some minor details though. The availability of parking was very convenient

Lovely Stay in Barcelona for my 30th

The apartment was really clean and tidy. The beds were comfy. There was a washer if you needed. Reception was close by and our room had its own lift which was great not that we needed it. I think that more toiletries would be nice as there was no shower gel. Also the terrace had a sofa for 3 when there were four of us and it was a very small sofa. Some extra furniture would have been nice. I would definitely stay again. Prince de la turc restaurant downstairs is brill. Good food and cheap drinks and foods. 5 mins walk away is double the price. Be sure to go inside as its a hidden gem, looks small from outside but three different areas inside. Close to beach but don't drink in those bars, £18 for 4 halves of lager..... Nice convenient area, not much nightlife without walking into city but for us we were happy with Prince de la turc downstairs. Really close to zoo and Cascada Monumental which is absolutely stunning.
