Description of the apartment -
· This quiet and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment is on the 5th floor of an 100-year-old modernist building. The floors are still the original colorful mosaic (a different design in every room), and the ceilings are 9 feet high. There is an elevator, air conditioning, central heating, and a full kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes, etc.

The building has a roof terrace, with tables and chairs, plenty of sunshine, and views to Sagrada Familia. Please note it is a shared terrace.

Equipment - SAFE in the master bedroom.
Private LAUNDRY ROOM inside the apartment with a washing machine and a dryer.
A/C and heating.
We supply LINENS and TOWELS, and a starter supply of soap and SHAMPOO and other essentials.

For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning, with vents in all of the bedrooms, and in the living and dining room.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi. A taxi lane runs in front of the apartment.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) noise in the living area. The bedrooms have no traffic noise.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 4 people. It can sleep up to 4.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 for occupancy. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Reserved early check-in or late check-out for half the nightly rate, subject to availability.
There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.
FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE SERVICE in our office when you arrive before check in or depart after check out time. We have our office in the building next door.

Excellent location for sites and public transportation to everywhere. Wonderful 100 year old apartment was very comfortable. We especially loved the sunny dining area every morning for breakfast. We would want to stay here again on a future trip to Barcelona.

Great time in Barcelona

Very quaint and perfectly located property within walking distance from the old city and the Gracias neighborhood. Check in was a breeze and communication with the hosts was easy. Only issue was the clothes washer leaked, but no big deal. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and quaint apartment. Easy access to a lot of restaurants and sights. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Bonus was the combination clothes washer and dryer!

The apartment was immaculately clean and very well situated with an easy walk to most tourist destinations and lots of great restaurants nearby.The condition of the flat was a bit run down compared to the pictures, but it had everything we needed and the location could not be beat.A queen size bed would be a nice addition; the sleeping arrangement was tight for a family of four.Overall a very pleasant stay, and the communication with the host was excellent.Thank you!

Beautiful apartment

Communication was good before stay and while we stayed. The apartment is beautiful, especially the tiles. Very traditional. Great area to eat inside terrace and the shared terrace is great too. Great to have air conditioning too. Only issue was the noise from other apartments.

Perfect for our family of 4

The location was great - wish we had more time to spend at some of the restaurants down the street. Adjacent to quite a few different transit options to get around, but we mostly walked. Internet was a bit spotty, but didn't really affect our stay as we weren't there much. The eating area had great windows and natural light. There were some noise restrictions and restrictions on the rooftop deck which were reasonable. The view from the rooftop is amazing, can see the Sagrada Familia.

Location, location, location.

First, if you expect a 5 star hotel look elsewhere. Apartment is functional and clean. We stayed for a week. Check in was easy and communication was responsive. Location is a 12 minute walk to Famiila and 15 to casa Batllo. There are many great restaurants and metro transportation nearby. Our visit to Barcelona was amazing Indiana couple.

4 great days in Barcelona

The property is in a great location easy to get to many of the sites. It is a clean and comfortable property if you are looking for the basics. We received good instruction for getting to the apartment and how to get in. A few repairs are needed such as the washing machine we could not open the door but we received assistance quickly and were able to do our wash. Overall we were happy with our stay

Quaint and Convenient

A cozy unit in a great neighborhood relatively close to the main city attractions as well as the city's transport. The apartment has classical floor tile that keeps it true to the architecture and character of the building. It may feel a little dated but in a good way. In a quiet building where getting rest wasn't an issue at all. Easy to access and to turn over again. I appreciated the place. Would stay again if available on my return visits.

Excellent location

Flat in great location. Only 5 mins brisk walk from Familia Sagrada and you can walk to the port/ beach within 30 mins. Park Gruell 30 mins walk but up slight incline. Supermarkets and restaurants all in close proximity. The flat has everything we needed but it did look tired with one wash hand basin not working and an old shower. Just needs more tender care/ updating but this did not detract from an enjoyable stay.
