The location is very conveniently located as it is walkable distance to La Sagrata Familia and to La Rambla. Lots of stores around to stock up on necessities if needed. The host is amazing very accommodating and welcoming. The place has everything you need and it is clean. We greatly enjoyed our stay!
The property was quite clean, spacious and nicely located in the heart of Barcelona downtown. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. She went above and beyond an average property manager to accommodate our family. We strongly recommend this property if you plan to visit Barcelona.
The property is as described. It was perfect for me, my husband and our 11 year old daughter. We did lots of walking to tourist sights and found the location to be relatively central.
There are lots of conveniences very close by - pharmacy, market, great restaurants and shops. It was nice to stay where people live and experience their way of life.
Chelo was very responsive and wonderful to work with.
This cozy 2-bedroom apartment is located in a great location that is about 15-20 minutes walk to the major tourist attractions in Barcelona, such as Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gracia (where Casa Batllo and Casa Mila are), Plaza Catalunya, etc. There are also many eateries and supermarkets close by. This apartment is located on the 1st level that can be accessed by stairs and elevator. The owner is very friendly and personally waited for us when we arrived from the airport to welcome us. She also oriented us to the apartment and how to use the various appliances. Overall we had a great first-time visit to Barcelona!
Chelo was an amazing host. She was very accommodating, even with a later than expected arrival. She also met us upon departure and arrainged for a taxi to take us to the Sants strain station.
The location of the unit was excellent. We walked to most locations around the city. For those less mobile, the nearest metro station is very close. We enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood looking for places to eat; Els Tres Sols (coffee/pastries), Casa Amalia (upscale dinner), Kserol (casual Tapas) for great food and incredibly welcoming owners who jokingly presented our Beef Cheek and Mashed Potato's as a Brownie with Cheese Cake; it looked identical.
We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona and will be sure to book with Chelo upon our return.

City center apartment affordable but not luxurious
Our stay in the apartment near Passeig de Gracia was not as central as we thought it would be to fun places to visit in Barcelona. It was affordable and convenient to Tetuan station and with the T casual pass we could get to within 15 min walking to most sights after a short metro ride. There are a few low cost things that could be done to improve the quality of the apartment. Newer, higher quality towels, bedding and a mattress pad would be nice. Higher quality silverware, toaster, coffee maker and other kitchen items would also make it a higher quality place. A minor repair to the vanity in the bathroom by fixing the door and corroded handle. The building and location was not quite as nice as we thought from the pictures. Overall, however, it was an affordable place to stay.
This apartment was exactly what we needed. Centrally located, and far enough away from the hectic touristy streets to ensure a quiet night’s sleep. The neighborhood felt safe at night as well. There are restaurants all over the place, I recommend Viti Taberna just around the corner. It was one of the best places we ate at in Barcelona.
Chelo was a fantastic host and was very helpful with the many questions we had. The apartment is as advertised. Although we didn’t cook any food there, the kitchen was well appointed.
The beds were quite comfortable, as were the pillows. I’m a bit of a light sleeper and so this is a very important quality to have.
I never heard the neighbors moving around, so the walls are soundproof enough.
We were about a 15 minute walk to Sagrada Familia, 15 minutes to the Born and Gothic neighborhoods, and maybe a 20 minute walk to the Gracia neighborhood. It was very easy to get around.
Overall I felt that this was a great value. And Chelo was terrific. I highly recommend this apartment. We will stay here again when we come to Barcelona next year.

This is a wondeful apartment. Our host was very helpful when we checked in providing us with valuable insight and information.
This is the perfect location to stay to walk to everything I wanted to see in the city. The only location that I wanted to see that was more than 1/2 hour walk was Montjuic. Lots of restaurants nearby. The apartment is very nice and comfortable too.

The apartment was a great location and a great place for our family of four. There were lots of great bakeries, restaurants, fruit stands nearby. The metro was super close and we were able to walk to lots of attractions. Chelo met us right at our arrival and had helpful hints to get us going. The beds were super comfortable.
