The apartment was good & the pictures represent the apartment well. It’s in a nice part of the city with a market, bakeries and restaurants near by. Here was our issues: We originally booked it for May 16-27- 10 days before the trip we messaged and asked the host if we could move checkin date to May 15. He told us he would check and get back to us. Over a week later he told us the apartment was already booked on May 15 so we couldn’t move it up. The issue was he waited to respond until the cancellation date passed. We believe he did this so we wouldn’t cancel & find another apartment that could accommodate the extra day. - 24 hrs before checkin he requested a 1000 deposit vs the 500 deposit he had listed in his post. Felt like a bait and switch on us. - checkin time was 3:30. We got there at 4:15 and the cleaners were still here. I believe they rushed the cleaning because we found hair in the bathtub and around the floor. There were only 3 clean towels, laundry left in the washer and dryer and food left in the fridge. - the most inconvenient issue was getting the keys. I had to leave my wife at the apartment building entrance doors with all our luggage and walk a block up & across the street to a combo box with the keys in it. We’ve been to many VRBO properties and this was the only owner who didn’t have a nice clear way to access the property, didn’t have instructions for accessing the WiFi or things within the property.
