Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room was bland but clean could've had more pillows but were provided when requested. No tea / coffee making facilities which for a 4 star I thought would be standard. The ladder into the pool was broken and wobbled when in use not safe really. Breakfast nice selection but eggs were cold on most days. The local metro station was closed for remodelling which was not known at time of booking shuttle bus provided for free to the next main Red Line Metro.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the staff at this hotel are lovely! Hotel is very close to the train station that takes you straight into Barcelona. So, it’s really great if you want to visit the city but would also like to enjoy some more relaxed days away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Near the train station. The R3 line trains are a bit delayed, but it’s okay. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast is great. The staff is very kind and accommodating for everything needed. The room is tidy and clean. An affordable hotel in a quiet area.

This property was in a safe neighborhood. We were able to walk to the store and to get dinner nearby. The hotel had a really good breakfast each morning. The pool was nice. We enjoyed our time here and I would def be back.

Awesome experience

My experience was amazing. This hotel is a hidden gem - 3 minutes walk from train station, staff was amazing, room service was excellent. It was also clean and quiet.

Moncada is a dumpy town and the hotel is by far the nicest building. Very good access to the train into Barcelona. The hotel lobby is beautiful marble and the restaurant while playing was offering most delicious veal stew for only €14. Although I'm never coming back to Moncanna again, I can recommend this hotel

This is an excellent corporate hotel to stay in if all you need is a clean, comfortable hotel room near public transportation. The staff is diligent and friendly, with the sole exception of the Sunday afternoon staff that refused to interrupt their snack break to check us in a few minutes early. This is not a hotel to book if you want to enjoy lounging in the lobby or the surrounding area -but it is the perfect place to stay if you plan to spend all of your time in the Old center of Barcelona.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The property was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast provided was good, offering a variety of options to start the day. The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to get around during the day. However, it can be challenging to return to the accommodation after 10 PM using public transport. Despite this, I would definitely consider staying here again.

This is not my idea of a 4 star hotel, but the staff was excellent. This hotel is in an awful area and you need a car to get anywhere - there is no food in walking distance besides a few coffee shops and a mall that was closed the entire time. It was very unsafe and dirty. felt like we were in the ghetto. would not reccomend

I Chose this hotel because it was closer to my place of business. However while the hotel brands itself as a 4 star I would grade it at 3max. It’s an old property and signs are showing in the rooms and corridors. There is no coffee tea maker in the room which was a big minus for me and expected of a 4star property. Breakfast was good though. The bathroom flush was also not without troubles. If this is close to where you wanna be than ok else look elsewhere

Safe and quiet property. Shopping mall nearby and public transport and taxi easily available right outside the hotel. All the staff at the front desk are wonderful and very helpful. Excellent customer service. Breakfast was amazing and had lot of variety and food options and fresh fruits and fresh baked croissants and pastries. The only thing I didn't like was the couch in the room was very old and had tear in the cushion. When you sit on the couch bum would sunk in and was very comfortable to sit on it.

In general the hotel was ok, however the AC was not working properly even that my family and I mentioned that we were not feeling on the AC, due the amount of people going to ask questions to the front desk we thought it was necessary more staff, we had a situation at night with the sink in our bathroom they didn’t have after hour technicians, service in general could be much better. The lady at the cafe / restaurant was super nice she was over the expectations. I huge thanks to her.

The room was a good size and clean. The bed had wheels which moved which was strange. The bathroom was good with extras like tooth brush etc. We were given a room with disabled toilet facilities which we did not require but it was still good. There are no tea making facilities which we are used to the the UK. There was a restaurant on site which was open at certain times but we did not use it. Travelling from Barcelona you take the R3 train to Montcada Ripollet (be careful as all trains do not stop there) which is very close to hotel. This take around 30 mins. We would not have liked to arrive when it was dark as you walked over derelict area to get there. Also surrounding the hotel was more like small industrial units, There were no cafes etc beside the hotel that we could see, maybe across the railway line there were some.

This review is somewhat complex to make as this was a last minute booking, I didn't stay for many days and didn't take advantage of all the facilities in the hotel but here is my general review of the things I did experience. The staff is lovely and always ready to help, from calling taxis to suggesting delivery apps, and the reception was manned 24h a day which is always a plus. The hotel is located just in the outskirts of Barcelona in a quiet area but it is very easy to get to Barcelona centre; there's a train station just a 3min walk away from the hotel that takes you to Barcelona centre in just 22min. Now, an area to improve would definitely be surrounding appliances. Some appliances in our room were in need of replacement as they were quite old or simply not working; The light shade between the beds, for instance, was rusty, whilst some light bulbs needed replacement and the phone did not work. Overall, it was good value (especially since we booked it very last minute) and the faults did not bother us too much.
