Right for the Price
This property was about what you would expect for the price. The room is exceptionally small. We were placed in the wrong room and then asked to move after we had unpacked all of our things, but otherwise the staff are friendly. Again--the room are amusingly small (we took a picture for our friends), so if you have a lot of luggage, this might not be the most appropriate lodging choice.

Dear guest, yes our single room has a double bed for being more comfortable and it is a small room, as it says in the description, it has a window that goes to an internal courtyard, there is no window. It is an economic room. Our warm regards, Pension Ciudadela

Great location. I liked that we had coffee, tea, and pastries to start or end the day. A refrigerator is in the kitchen area to store your food/drink. Traveled with 5 people, the triple room had a cute balcony. No problems with AC. A few stairs before you get into the tiny elevator up to lobby. If you have mobility issues or lots of luggage this might be a problem. Friendly service.

Equate this more to a B&B than a full service hotel or a typical hostel. We had a triple room with private en suite bath, balcony and A/C. Other rooms used a shared bath. There was a common area with tables, chairs, dishes, refrigerator to store food/drink. And a common rooftop terrace. Housekeeping was impeccable, maybe even too much as we could have fared without new towels every day. The people running the space were so kind and informative. You cannot beat the location. Right on the edge of The Born neighborhood so easy walkability to museums, shops and restaurants but not in the thick of the nightlife noise. Parks, beaches and transport are at your doorstep!

Amazing stay. Manu,the guy in the reception waited for me at 11pm for the check in giving a warm welcome. Lovely room in the heart of the born area,efficient cleaning and availability of the staff anytime.

The place was very nice and very welcoming. Great price and right in a great spot in Barcelona. Everything is close by. Top place for a top price with very friendly staff. Clean and tidy and has everything you need for a nice and comfortable stay.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, it is very close to Santa Maria del Mar and Born Market, the staff is very friendly, if you have a car the area is very hard to find parking and expensive, you can walk easily to many sights, good hostel highly recommended

I always pictured a hostel to be on the disgusting side, but this was good enough. The only thing that I’d recommend is getting new kitchen supplies because when you warm the water in the steamer it just comes out disgusting. It wouldn’t be bad to restore the place a bit. It’s haunted, too lol

Great location, but was tricky to find. No lobby or signs, just a door which leads you to the pension on the fourt floor of a mixed use building. Very helpful staff, rooms very simple and dated, but clean and air-conditioned!

Any way I observed that the hotel was in good area
We arrived at the hotel but, the booking was canceled for one reason which they mentioned that the Creadit Card was not opened by the bank! while they could save our booking until we arrive than we pay the sum. It was respectless of the hotel manager. Any way I observed that the hotel was in good area while the moral of the business ZERO! The policy of manaing guest is Zero!

Dear guest, We are so sorry for the inconvienence. This is not our policy management, but the one of Expedia and of every other company. If the credit card is not valid, and if we do not have any information of the guest, previous to their arrival (because we always write to the guest before canceling a reservation) the reservation is cancelled. Accommodation was pretty basic,but the Reception staff were quite marvellous. Pension Ciudadela is right opposite Barcelona Franca station — a 2 minute walk.

入口の看板がなくて旗に名前があり到着が夜になってしまったので分かりづらくて焦りました、近くのカフェで助けて貰って入ることが出来ました。 そのあとは一日中スタッフが常駐しているので安心出来ます。ただ受付が1階ではなくエレベーターで上がった所なので分かりづらかったかな。部屋は綺麗でした。
