We shocked by your rating sicne we are transparent, we have all the photos of all the rooms and all the information, such as the size of the rooms, amenities, equipment, etc., is posted on all web pages, so that anyone can check, be informed and see what are they going to reserve, before they make the reservation. The room has been delivered to you in perfect conditions and functioning, and you have enjoyed good service and accommodation. And above all, you have been given the room you have reserved, you have not been given a different product, or in poor condition or defective.We understand that now you are smearing against us because we do not accept the free cancellation of your non-refundable reservation. We're not tricking anyone, there's no false advertising anywhere, it clearly says on Expedia's website that we are a hostal (not a hotel) that there's no elevator (and there's just 22 steps), but you where shocked because you didn't read that information and presumed on your own that you have reserved a 5-star hotel...

We apologize for any inconvenience you had, since we are located in the most fashionable and trendy area in all Barcelona, surrounded by the best restaurants, bars and pubs in the city, where all people come, gather and celebrate, we have implemented measures against noise, such as triple windows and double soundproofing... thank you for letting us know since there's always room to improve. We honestly don't know how the sink got stuck, since the pluming and all the instalations are new, and we did our best to fix it, but sadly at that time in the afternoon the maintanence staff wasn't available, and next day morning it was already fixed.We deeple appologize for these inconveniences, but sadly some day to day arrizing issues can happen to everyone, even on our homes, and even if we want to, we cannot prevent them, but we try to solve them as soon as possible.

Due the the local regulations, for safety purposes, we cannot leave then in the rooms, but there're always available for guest if the ask.We also inform you that the mattresses that we have are standard type. Since there is a varied typology of clients, in hotels, mattresses are always standard, balanced, not hard neither soft, but in the middle. Of course, if you’re used to a soft mattress you might find it hard and vice versa. Plus, the mattresses are all new, since we have not even been open for 1 year.And of course all rooms, in the bathrrom's shower there's a shampoo and gel dispenser.We are glad to know that the cleanliness it your standards but we are saddened that the rest didn't.Best regards
