The rooms were spacious enough for 8 people. However I wish there were more showers available. I like that they have a lounge area on the 2nd floor, no one used it must so it was pretty quiet.

Great location with easy connections into the city. Stayed in a women 8 dorm and had no issues, plenty of space. Only thing is you have 1 toilet & 1 shower to 8 people.

Excellent Experience!
My 3 friends and I stayed for a few days in a 4-person dorm, which was absolutely ideal and arguably better than a hotel for what we needed. The rooms were clean modern and with plenty of space. Will be returning!

Unite hostel was a great place to stay. It was my first time staying at a hostel and they were extremely friendly and helpful. In a great location to bars and beaches and transportation and overall not far from the airport.

Depends who you meet
My trip was great due to the people I met in my room. The hostel is clean, it’s very big, the facilities are good. Unless you are lucky like me you may not meet others. Lots of school trips: which entailed kids running up and down corridors, knocking on doors and playing in lifts. That’s what kids do away from home probably for the first time…. It seemed to be a hostel mainly for school children though. Luckily I booked the women’s only room which meant I met lots of great solo travellers

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Pros: safe neighborhood, close to the beach, modern building, comfortable beds, rooftop terrace Cons: kitchen was slightly messy at times

Five Star Hostel!
Totally enjoyed our stay here. Room was very comfortable, linens were crisp and clean and we had a large and small towel per person. One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Front desk was helpful and readily available. Two elevators plus stairs to reach your floor. Great Experience!

Clean, friendly and modern hostel
Clean, friendly hostel. We booked a private room with en suite so it was much like a budget hotel. Nice and close to the beach.

Don't expect much outside of a place to stay
For me this wasn't the right place. It is a quiet place so if that's what you're looking for then you'll probably like it. However, I think most people who stay in hostels expect more of a social environment. Don't expect to mingle or make new friends here. It's simply a place to stay. Rules are *strictly* enforced!

It was our first stay at a hostel and we went as a family. It was an excellent experience. From our arrival to the day we left, all staff were cordial, from the reception, the housekeeper and the breakfast Lady. All very polite. Excellent location.

Unite Hostel has an amazing location, very close to the beach so ideal if you like open-air activities. All transport is easy accessible (metro, bus, bike sharing). The area is safe and quite but lively at the same time.

Very safe, quiet and nice place. I stayed in a dorm of 8, shared by women and it was regularly cleaned and kept up to date. If you are looking for socializing with people in the hostel, this is not the place to be, but if you are someone who likes to travel alone, or with only your company, this is a very nice hostel to be in. All facilities were up to date, and the public transport facilities are at a walking distance. Highly recommended!

Very low price and good location. Furthermore, there are plenty of common spaces. Negative point: no curtain for each bed. need to pay 5euro to get bath towel. Shower room is not so easy to use, no mattress, no shelf.

We went for Christmas - Note this location is prob best during the summer months. We stayed 9 nights. We had a private room (my son and I) Everything was clean. Staff was fine - no one really stood out or was overly friendly to be honest. Here's my take - 1. The water situation - They are trying to conserve water - all the taps are push in and they pop out on their own after 10 or 15 secs - This makes taking a shower a huge pain. The sink once you push in the button - spews out so much water all at once that you end up splashing most of it all over your clothes and outside the sink. 2. The light in the shower and the bathroom are on timers - again I found myself having to constantly hit the switch because the time frame was super short. 3. Our private room was large we had a 4 bed's (bunk beds) and our own private bathroom. Problem was that there was no where to sit except on the edge of the bottom bunks no table nothing. There is plenty of room for it. 4. Location/neighborhood was so empty . We found ourself heading to Las Ramblas almost everyday just to be around people. The streets are empty around the hostel and super quite. I understand Covid and all but it is nice to at least see some sort of movement. Having said that it was super safe and quite. We didn't meet anyone at the hostel - Normally when I travel I end up making some new friends - not too many people mingling around. Do go to the restaurant attached to the hostel - The pizza is wonderful.

Hello! Thank you for your very positive evaluation. As you say, it is a shame that everything is a bit soulless due to COVID. We have chairs and tables in all the private rooms, I'm surprised that yours didn't have one, they were still under repair, you could have asked for them at reception, I'm sure our staff would have provided one. We hope you return to Barcelona and can feel the warmth of the city and our Hostel without thinking about the pandemic.

Ich war das erste Mal in einem Hostel und habe daher keine Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. Das Unite Hostel war mir auf jeden Fall sympathisch. Es war Recht sauber, gemütlich und sowohl das Personal als auch die Gäste waren sehr nett. Wünschenswert wären noch Vorhänge an den Betten gewesen um etwas mehr Privatsphäre zu haben. Das Frühstück war so lala, aber in Ordnung. Ich würde aber wieder da übernachten. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Ótima estadia, me senti acolhida!
O hostel fica há 3 minutos da estação, próximo você encontra mercados e um café maravilhoso com ótimas opções para o café da manhã. Eles possuem uma infraestrutura muito boa para quem viaja sozinho, consegui trabalhar no Coworking (internet boa), a cozinha atende bem, muitas pessoas cozinhando e socializando em harmonia. No segundo andar vc tem secador de cabelo, pois os banheiros ficam nos quartos. Para ser sustentável, os chuveiros possuem time. Não foi problema, aprendendo a economizar. A praia de Barceloneta está há 10 minutos caminhando, vale muito a pena conhecer. Quero agradecer de coração ao recepcionista Felipe que me deu suporte e apoio depois de ter sido impedida de entrar no voo da Ryanair. Cheguei no hostel abalada e ele foi humano e acolhedor. O recepcionista argentino que agora não recordo o nome também foi muito gentil. Você pode conhecer muitos lugares caminhando. No mais, recomendo o hostel com tranquilidade.

Très bien Manque un peu de convivialité, d’espaces ou on peut se poser avec les autres voyageurs. De plus des sanitaires en dehors des chambres seraient les bienvenues car il me semble qu’il n’y en a pas ! Mais bien dans l’ensemble, chambres et literies propres. Les lits superposés sont « en solides » donc on ne ressent pas quand l’autre bouge, c’est top !
