Leonardo Royal Hotel Barcelona Fira

Leonardo Royal Hotel Barcelona Fira

10/10 Excellent
"It is nowhere near the city centre. But taxis are plentiful and relatively cheap. If you're at the conference centre it's ideal. The local amenities are very much that. But most of the city is 10-15 mins away. The bar and roof top pool are nice. But it is definitely not a holiday hotel as such. Really helpful staff If you need to be in the area it's a very good option"

Pocket Guide: Barcelona Barceloneta Hotels

Barceloneta is a walkable neighborhood that's popular for its restaurants and bars. Take in the natural beauty of the sea and beaches—or broaden your horizons with some local theater. Hotels in Barceloneta provide a good starting point for sightseeing in and around the Barcelona area.

Sightseeing around Barceloneta

The museums and theaters add a sense of refinement, while the monuments and other landmarks offer local lore. Browse the collections at History Museum of Catalunya, Barcelona Wax Museum, or Natural Sciences Museum. You can buy tickets to live performances at Teatre Malic, Teatre Principal, and Gran Teatre del Liceu. Monuments like Sant Miquel del Port, Rambla de Mar, and Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy honor the area. Casa Llotja de Mar, Columbus Monument, and Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar are some of the notable landmarks. Bring the family to Barcelona Aquarium, Bubbleparc, and CEM Maritim.

You can get some shopping done while you're here, or take part in any number of other activities. Soak up some sun at Barceloneta Beach, San Sebastian Beach, and Nova Icaria Beach. You can spend a leisurely afternoon outside at Parc de la Ciutadella, Placa de la Sardana, or Montjuic. If you've got some more time, you won't be disappointed by Barceloneta Market, Maremagnum, and Moll d'Espanya.

Some of the area's most popular sights are Palau de la Musica Catalana, Casa Batllo, and Sagrada Familia. Port Vell, Barcelona World Race Interpretation Centre, and Pompeu Fabra University are other must-sees.
