"The hotel staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. My only constructive criticism is that the water from the shower either has little or no pressure in the mornings, and it’s very difficult to regulate the temperature. It was either scalding, hot or freezing cold. Also breakfast was disappointing as unless you got there literally at 7:30 everything was cold, I am aware they sealed the silver platters with hot water, but there didn’t appear to be any candles keeping the hot water hot. Therefore the food was cold. We did have omelettes this morning our last day and only wish we are done that previously in the week but couldn’t see it advertised that they were available. "

"Beautiful place across the street from the beach. Easy to get around town by walking, or short walk to buses if you want to explore other areas of the lake. We would highly recommend."

"This was our first holiday in Italy and Lake Garda and Hotel Nettuno exceeded our expectation. The location of Hotel Nettuno is great for easy access to the centre of Bardolino with a lovely lakeside walk. The breakfast selection was excellent, so much to choose from. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice and enjoyed the buffet starters from the salad bar, the two courses and the choice of desserts. The staff were most welcoming and friendly especially Elke and the waitress Maria (sorry if I have the wrong name). All the staff were patient with my few words of Italian and speak English fluently. Our room was a good size, well furnished and well cleaned. Yes the decor was a bit tired and overdue for the imminent refurbishment but it did not spoil our enjoyment of the hotel. It was lovely to see Bardolino during the buzz of the wine festival but good too to experience a quieter Bardolino after the festival had packed up. Transport links with busses and ferries were good and was our first holiday without a car. We plan to return."

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hotel was well kept. It is in a good location close to the town but not on the main street. It was easy to get to and had parking."
