"Went for one night /stayed for two it was so nice. Very quiet beautiful hotel on side of mountain. Quiet, relaxing with wonderful small staff and very friendly owner who makes you feel welcome and will help and guide you with a smile (excellent English btw). Very nice upscale hotel. "The original booking was for Tierra Roja, but the hotel was in a bad section of town and down very muddy roads. The hotel manager sent us to another hotel they managed, but didn’t adjust the price until we noticed that it was listed for quite a bit less on hotels.com. They agreed to a partial refund and we thought everything was fine. We were the only ones staying there and the lady who took care of the hotel left early. Just before midnight someone tried to break into our room. We scared them...

"This is a great hotel. Love the decor. The staff were exceptional. It's in a great location. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good, a nice variety. The room was extremely clean and again the decor was the best. Great size bathroom with hot water, very good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Only negative maybe get more comfortable pillows. Amazing views from the roof. But overall this is a great place today. I would definitely stay there again. "
