Cozy Beachfront Cottage Steps from Lake Huron with Fire Pit

"George was a very commutative and helpful host. His place is comfortable, and easy to stay and feel at home. As you can see in the photos his place is exactly what you get, it's not fancy but very practical. All the basic kitchen utensils and appliances are present. We cooked most meals for the week their and were able to feed the group. Disposable plates and utensils are a must. View is awesome out back. We love watching freighters pass which is one reason we booked. The fire pit was very enjoyable for the evenings and lots of places in the area sell wood. The beach is nice and a mix of sand and rocks. Water shoes really helped. It is nearly private although shared with a neighbor who joined us one afternoon. All the beds were comfortable and the sheats clean and soft. We slept great. For sure plenty of room for a large group to spread out and feel comfortable. We had some high 90 degrees days and thankfully the AC kept us cool in the heat of the afternoon. The thumb is a unique and diverse area. We would consider booking with George again for sure as we made some great memories."

"My sister and I drove my parents up to Michigan to visit our brother. This house was our home base. It is a cute little house in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I loved the location and the quietness. We all found the beds to be comfortable and the couch was large enough for all of us. The communication was great and check in was a breeze! The air conditioners were great and cold! The house could use a deep cleaning. The windows are dirty and there is a stain on the carpet. The table and chairs were kind of sticky. The shower also needs repaired as water pours out of the spigot where it goes into the wall. My main concern was the sidewalk and steps up to the house. They are in need of repair. My mom is elderly and is not very stable on her feet and we had to take her in and out the back door. Even though the back deck has steps (with no railing), it was much safer than the front steps! Overall, the house was good for us. The location and price are good. It could just use some TLC."

"Great quiet cabin in a quaint wooded area. Beach adjacent for easy access. Walking distance to small grocery store and town shops. Great propane grill for outdoor cooking. Super clean cabin and nice amenities. Some games provided--played monopoly! Great new jacuzzi hot tub. Great time had by all. A !!!!"

"Absolute Perfection for Large Groups!Our family of 18 had the most incredible vacation! This house was absolutely perfect for our large group, offering every single amenity imaginable and more.Here is why we loved it:The Ultimate Game Room: Our college boys spent almost all their time here playing endless rounds of pool and ping pong.Pure Relaxation: My sister and I loved unwinding in the gorgeous pool and hot tub after long mornings of kayaking.Chef's Dream Setup: Having a second downstairs kitchen was a total lifesaver for prepping multiple meals for a big crowd at the same time.Backyard Paradise: The outdoor amenities were fantastic, featuring the perfect mix of sun, shade, and tons of seating for an epic family cookout.Bonus Perks: Free Netflix and Prime subscriptions made our family movie nights incredibly easy and fun.Unbeatable Location: We were super close to downtown and just minutes away from our favorite local hangout, The Ali Bar!If you have a big group, book this place immediately. "It was great and host was extremely accommodating, quick to respond. A really fun and funky spot, my son loved the arcade. It was spacious enough for bride and bridesmaids to get ready for Port Sanilac wedding. One warning- be aware of ticks!"

"Property was excellent-beautifully appointed and clean. Parking lot across the street was helpful for visitors. Note the fire pits are removed in June for the summer months. And also, the VRBO host keeps a clear roofed wedding tent installed on the lower deck in the summer as they have lots of events/weddings. The rear patio is the only place to hang out if you have a large group (30-40 people), so the tent was helpful when it rained. There is no space quite large enough inside the house for over 20. No dining tables in any of the 4 kitchens, but nice kitchen islands with 4-5 stools each. and attached den w/ sofa and 2 chairs for each kitchen area."

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The views are amazing. The hot tub was so relaxing. The barbecue grill made for some great meals. The beds are comfortable and the place was spotless. Our questions were answered immediately. We are planning when we can return!"
