"The cabin was perfect for our 4-night stay in Hayward. We had 2 couples and 3 children 3-8 years old. It was clean and the setup of the 2 bedrooms and loft worked out perfectly. Although it feels like you are miles from town when at the cabin, it is only minutes to Walmart and all the fun in Hayward. the back deck was a wonderful place to sit and have coffee and watch the kids play and the wildlife. "The lake and beach is beautiful. Our grandkids visited for 4 days and they spent hours playing around in the sand. Grand kids were able to see the numerous deer in the neighborhood. The cottage itself was well supplied. The drawback to the cottage is having the bathroom in the basement. There is no handrail on the basement steps, which makes traveling to the basement a bit of a safety issue. Overall though it is a very nice cottage in a good location"

"My boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary trip. The cabin was in a beautiful location right on the lake with only 1 visible neighbor. Neighborhood was quiet. Cabin very clean and had everything you need in a cabin. Beds very comfy! Only about 10 mins outside of town for easy access. Cozy, relaxing, romantic. So romantic that my boyfriend decided to propose to me on this trip 😀 This spot will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!"
