"The hotel was easy to find but we had to pop in to ask for directions to the car park, but this was then easy to find and access. The location of the hotel is great for wandering around Stamford. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was on the small side but fine for a one night stay. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. Always good to find two chairs in a hotel room booked for two people!"

"Very nice hotel in good central position with comfortable beds, good food and its own car park, spoiled for me by the rock-hard pillows in both the rooms we stayed in on two separate nights. They were issued centrally by the Group and the individual hotel was powerless to change them. As a result I had two nights of very poor sleep. I have now cancelled my booking for next month and will make other arrangements. Great shame. Ships and tar I'm afraid."
