Room was amazing! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Did not eat at the restaraunt with the exception of the breakfast, however there are many restaurant options close by! The staff are what make this hotel great. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and I'm great shape because of them. Both pools were amazing. The included breakfast had many different options every day and the hotel bar/restaurant had great food as well. Definitely get the ceviche pulpo Paul. It was one of the best ceviches that I've ever had. Plenty of shopping, great restaurants, and supermarkets within walking distance. I stayed for 7 days. I will stay again very soon.

I’ve have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It used to be very good. 7 years after my last stay I am disappointed with the lack of maintenance in the rooms. I got a junior suite, 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms. There was a sewer-like smell in the rooms and several plumbing issues. The sink was clogged, the toilets did not flush properly, and there was visible mold or humidity on the walls. On the first night, there was a strong plumbing or sewer odor, to the point that I had to open the bathroom windows to ventilate the space. Overall, I found the rooms to be quite neglected in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. I understand that the hotel is old and that renovations have been made over time; however, the most important aspects are room and bathroom cleanliness, and unfortunately, this fell short during my stay.

We leave with a very negative impression of the hotel. People would say, "it's one of the best hotels in Barranquilla" but the truth is, that it's one of the worst we've ever stayed at. The staff were not friendly. You could tell they were not enjoying their job and if you work in hospitality, you should at least like people and enjoy the environment you are in. The staff never smiled, when you asked a question they looked at you with impatience. The key to our room never worked, not once, throughout our stay, and whenever I complained, the front desk was not very nice. The hotel does not have amenities, no spa, no real restaurant, and the restaurant on the top floor, only opens twice a week. Overall disappointing experience and stay.

Carnaval in Barranquilla

Carnaval in Barranquilla in this nice hotel! All the staff was super super nice and very helpful and it was so sweet to see the staff even put special t-Shirts and make-up for carneval! And the hotel was lovely decorated! Breakfast was fresh and nicely prepared.

Great eats!

It is near many good restaurants and there is a 26th floor great view restaurant in the hotel. The free breakfast was amazing with a large selection buffet. The downstairs restaurant was also very good and at a good price.
