"Picked because of their reasonable prices and discounts available for multiple day stays. Indoor Pool was larger than expected, was a little disappointed to see that they have an outdoor pool as well but it looks like it’s closed and in desperate need of maintenance. Pet Friendly and were able to accommodate us as well as helped us book a reservation last minute when there weren’t many rooms available. Rooms around the back of the hotel could use some updating, definitely could benefit from more staff. Overall favourite hotel to stay at in Barrie! "

"The property is in a perfect location. Our family found it easily. The plaza to pick up groceries and spirits was so convenient. Access to the highway was easy. The cottage itself was wonderful. As soon as you opened the door, it felt welcoming. The lakefront view was visible. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms with ensuites were fabulous…..the waterfall showers were delightful. We didn’t use the water equipment or fire pit due to the weather, but it just added to the amenities of the place. The rule book simplified things and the welcoming tray of goodies was delightful. Everything we needed was available. If we were swimming, I would suggest bringing your own beach towels. Because we had single family members, a couple of single beds would have helped. However, we managed and the beds were really comfortable. Yes, we would holiday there again. Thank you for wonderful experience. Our British family were totally blown away with the accommodations."

"Great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Great location near waterfront and downtown. The room was small but modern and very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. "
