It was pretty private clean

Very cute boutique hotel. Centrally located to many restaurants and stores. Walking distance to many historic landmarks. Beautiful surrounding neighborhoods. Great price for the hotel and it included an open bar. Very nice place to stay.

The property and bedroom were clean, and housekeeping was acceptable. However, my rating reflects two significant issues. Despite advance email exchanges requesting my flight details, my precise arrival estimate of 6:15 p.m., and my emphasis that I had dinner reservation that evening, the front desk was unattended when I arrived at 6:10 p.m. I waited 45 minutes for the ONLY employee to return from her break. When I asked why they had emailed to confirm my arrival time if the desk was going to be unattended, she shrugged her shoulders, offered no expression or apology, and simply said, “I need a break too.” The kind gentleman running the attached convenience store offered beverages and conversation, which I appreciated. After a day of travel, and fatigue the 45 min of sitting with my luggage with an empty check in desk cost me valuable time resting. Another star was lost for the noise. Despite being on the fourth floor, the room had virtually no sound insulation. Garbage trucks and street noise kept me awake until 4 a.m. every night. It was the loudest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Hope this helps
