The listed castle is located near the Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn and Rerik in the middle of a 7-hectare park with old trees.

The Baltic Sea beaches of Rerik and Kühlungsborn are only about 10 minutes away. The Golf Resort Wittenbeck can be reached in 15 minutes.

The location is ideal for trips to Bad Doberan (Münster), Heiligendamm (Germany's oldest seaside resort), the Hanseatic city of Rostock and Warnemünde or even to Wismar.

With the bicycles you have brought with you or rented on site, you can explore the area on the good network of cycle paths,
