Prefect hotel if you are ever in Batam, just a few minutes walk to the best shopping mall in Batam - Grand Batam Mall as well as popular A2 Foodcourt and BCS Mall. Impeccable service, clean and spacious rooms, highly recommended!

This is a solid stay. Close to ATM and shops if needed. Air conditioning wasn’t strong if working and there was a little mold on the sink that I think was messing with my allergies. Also it is not sound proof lol. But the staff were nice, the room design was cool, and I felt generally safe.

Good location - near local market, many eateries nearby, near 2 big mall (Grand Batam Mall & BCS Mall) - both within walking distance. Staff are generally very courteous and the front office staff speak good English. Nice lobby and decent breakfast buffet spread. Appreciate very much allowed early check-in. Recommended and likely to return when visiting Batam.

Good location. Bed was comfortable. Abit too soft for my liking though. A few decent eateries and spas around the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. A minimart just opposite the entrance for snacks and drinks. Breakfast spread was decent. Fair warning, no gym or swimming pool.

We had an amazing stay at Artotel Batam. Hotel staffs were all very friendly and the location is so accessible to many places. Walking distance to Grand Batam Mall , wet market and spas. Overall........... love the hotel.

Overall good but need to improve check in process.

Comfy bed and clean room. The toilet is big too. Only thing that need to improve is the check in process. Should try to limit each check in to 5 mins. Otherwise it will be a long wait for guests to check in.

This was my 2nd time staying at Artotel & the experience was wholistically pleasant; right from entering the hotel entrance being greeted with a friendly welcome & leaving the as we checked out. Location was accessible to Grand Batam Mall which made it more convenient.

Everything is fine. Food is normal, the staff serving provide good service, but they only start work at 7am which the breakfast starts at 6am. So from 6-7am no service staff.

Great Experience

It's a new hotel open about a year ago. All the staffs are very courteous from front reception, housekeeping, restaurant to security. Good varieties for breakfast having local, western, chinese food etc. Its conveniently situated just across Grand Batam Mall, eateries & spa. Just about 10 mins away from Harbour Bay ferry terminal. Will stay again no doubt is just probably a 3 star hotel.

Did not had the breakfast for two nights stay to experience other food around. Plenty of choices from inexpensive “coffeeshop” fares to simple restaurant and cafe types. The air conditioning wasn’t cool enough for one of the rooms, the traffic noise in the evening from the road facing GBM was quite bad. Overall, location with such prices is ideal. Basic lodging needs are provided well and plenty of Convienence stores and malls, food nearby.
