Good location - near local market, many eateries nearby, near 2 big mall (Grand Batam Mall & BCS Mall) - both within walking distance. Staff are generally very courteous and the front office staff speak good English. Nice lobby and decent breakfast buffet spread. Appreciate very much allowed early check-in. Recommended and likely to return when visiting Batam.

Good location. Bed was comfortable. Abit too soft for my liking though. A few decent eateries and spas around the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. A minimart just opposite the entrance for snacks and drinks. Breakfast spread was decent. Fair warning, no gym or swimming pool.

Fabulous Hotel

Good, clean and comfortable hotel. Near to Grand Mall and BCS shopping mall and with lots of eatery surrounded. Highly recommend this hotel

Location is great for solo & also families. - Safe : Round the clock there’s always staff at the Ground Floor (Car Park) & at Main Entrance. These a plus point for safety measures. - Every staff is friendly & attentive to the details. * The hygiene of the environment is great. Food preparation & servings are handled well. * - Easy Transportation. - Clean Rooms : Spacious. - Corridor is big & it is a great measure for Safety. - Internet Access: Unstable connection on 1 of the night. However, staff fix the issues in short time. We will be a return guests. Thank You. Do keep up the great work.🙏

We had an amazing stay at Artotel Batam. Hotel staffs were all very friendly and the location is so accessible to many places. Walking distance to Grand Batam Mall , wet market and spas. Overall........... love the hotel.

5 mins walk to Reborn massage. Second time I am staying here. Spacious rooms, clean toilet. Could have added spare toilet roll. Room had left over rubbish from previous occupier and area in the corner wasn't clean. Still, great stay overall and I would return.

We did not have any problem with the hotel cleanliness, as reviewed by others. The staff were very friendly and attentive. During our booking, we had requested for 2 rooms furthest from the lift lobby. We were given the furthest room on the highest floor. Also, this was not our first choice to stay around the area. We ended up here because our first choice hotel (which is more expensive) was fully booked. But when we arrived in Batam, Artotel had looked newer and more modern than our first choice hotel. Will be back again.

It's a new hotel, opened about 8 months when we checked in. Pillow case, bedsheets were dirty. Pillow case has stains. In the writeup, Artotel should stated "Breakfast not included" in the room rate instead of "Breakfast Available". We had to pay IDR 100K each pax to take their buffet breakfast. Very misleading.

The hotel chambermaid did not do a good job. a pair of slippers was left on the coffee table together with the cups and coffee machine. Only 1 roll of half used toilet roll is available in the room. The hairdryer's handle is broken, i have to hold the joint wnen using to prevent it from bending back.

The checking in was a bit of a hassle, even with our passports and booking references, it took quite a while for check in. Each room, although it was twin sharing, was only given 1 key, which is a tad inconvenient as we needed the key to access the lifts to our rooms. Another thing to highlight was that when we were given our rooms at 3pm, there wasn't any towels in the room and we had to wait till about 7pm before we got our towels. There was only 1 pair of slippers in the twin sharing room. Although we could get room service to rectify this but it should have been arranged previously to avoid such trouble.

Prefect hotel if you are ever in Batam, just a few minutes walk to the best shopping mall in Batam - Grand Batam Mall as well as popular A2 Foodcourt and BCS Mall. Impeccable service, clean and spacious rooms, highly recommended!

This is a solid stay. Close to ATM and shops if needed. Air conditioning wasn’t strong if working and there was a little mold on the sink that I think was messing with my allergies. Also it is not sound proof lol. But the staff were nice, the room design was cool, and I felt generally safe.

Overall good but need to improve check in process.

Comfy bed and clean room. The toilet is big too. Only thing that need to improve is the check in process. Should try to limit each check in to 5 mins. Otherwise it will be a long wait for guests to check in.
