Welcome to Sandy Shores, an absolute beachfront property. 1 minute walk to Long Beach beach.
Sandy Shores is a dog-friendly property, with a fully fenced backyard. The adjacent beach is also dog friendly.

Sandy Shores is priced as a self-clean property. You need to clean it as per the checklist provided. The caretaker will check to see whether or not you have. If excessive additional cleaning is required the cost of it may be charged to you.

You will need to bring your own linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels). There are 2 queens, 1 double and 3 singles in the bedrooms. Additionally in the family room there are 2 futons which convert to beds 1 is a queen and 1 is a single. Doonas, doona covers, and pillows are provided.
It is also possible to organise linen by contacting a local company by the name of Blissful Bedding. Ring Kylie on 0403-305-553 or www.blissfulbedding.com.au

This beach house is ideally located directly on the Long Beach foreshore and opposite the Cullendulla Nature Reserve, allowing you to walk or swim depending on your mood. Kangaroos keep the front grass well trimmed and the rear garden is fully fenced for your pooch.
The house is 2-storey and ideally suited for multiple families or generations. There is only one kitchen but each floor has its own main queen bedroom, bunkroom, bathroom, lounge room, deck/balcony, and air conditioner. If you include the futons in the family room there are beds for 12. Note there is a extra guest fee of $200 per stay if you have more than 8 people in your party. $200 in total not per guest.
There are extensive ocean views from the upper balcony.
There is a baby gate if needed to keep the stairs safe.
Parking includes a garage and a side gate with boat/caravan accommodation.
Over the years a variety of items has accumulated to help entertain the troops including boogie boards, books, games, puzzles, bikes, scooters, dvds, even a paddle board
There is a firepit if you wish to roast marshmallow and make s'mores. We try to supply firewood but this is not guaranteed
Batemans Bay is a 10-minute drive away and has a large variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. Recommended are Sams Pizza, the boathouse (fish and chips), and the Batehaven Bakery for breakfast. On Tuesday night Cut and Run Pizza brings their van to Bay Road beach (Long Beach) You need to preorder before 3pm
Covid-19 Policy; It is now established that aerial transmission is the predominate way that Covid is spread. Hence we provide lockable security doors at each outside opening. There are 3 security doors upstairs and 3 downstairs. Guests are encouraged to leave all doors open (except off kitchen) but to lock all security doors on departure. We believe that the science shows that this practice of airing out the property between guests minimizes the chances of virus spread. A selection of sanitizing products is also provided.

Great pet friendly home, excellent secure back yard. Lovely and spacious - ideal for two families or several couples. Equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay.

A trip to remember. Fabulous beach location. Just a trip along the grass to the beach. Gentle waves, quiet beach. What an introduction to traditional Australian coastal life for my overseas grandchildren. House spacious and relaxed.
We had a wonderful stay. Spacious bedrooms, hearing just the waves @ night. So close to the beach & a hot outside shower to wash the sand off. Dog friendly yard w grass & undercover area.
We were 4 ladies down the coast to celebrate international women’s day diving with Beneath the Bay.
We enjoyed the size of the house, the location, and the pleasant outlook over the dunes, enjoying a lovely evening meal on the balcony.

Lovely location to stay in for the week of Christmas. Perfect backyard for the pets and a fantastic view from the bedrooms. Stay was soured by the cleanliness of the home - whilst its self clean it doesn’t anppear that the home is checked between tenants and it is in need of a deep clean particularly considering the price of our stay. Internet wasn’t working and I was provided with some information to fix it but wouldn’t consider it my responsibility to fix the internet for the owner.
Fantastic location and so well appointed with every appliance, espresso machine , stylish crockery , wonderful decks and outdoor furniture . I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the property.
Surprising that there is any house anywhere without internet .
Also it was not stated on the listing that the guest has to do the cleaning . .I did not mind doing the cleaning but it should be clearer.

Our stay at Sandy Shores was amazing. The house is set up perfectly for pets with balconies, a secure yard and access from the gate to the 24/7 off leash dog beach with no roads. The back fence is not quite shoulder height and is climbable, but held all our dogs without issue (2 x labrador size and 1 Jack Rusell). There are no holes in the fence for dogs to go under or through and our dogs certainly would have been looking hard for a weakness..
For the people there is an abundance of games such as fusbal, table tennis, chess to play together, and many areas to spread out and relax by yourself.
The hosts could not have been more accommodating. Sandy Shores is a great place to go with pets, a large family or an extended family for a relaxed beach get away.

Also my family that came all the way down from Queensland to stay with us at the house as soon as we pulled in the dog next door on the left hand side barked and barked for a good few minutes untill the owner took it inside.
On the second night there I got a ph call from the owner saying that he got a noise complaint from her that both us and our dog were to loud , so that put a dampener on our holiday , I really don’t think we were being loud at all but it is what it is .
Apart from that we made it the best we could .

Amazing experience & beautiful house and location with direct access to beach, my kids & I loved it
When my kids & I arrived at the property which is a beautiful large 2 storey house, we walked inside & put all our things in our respective rooms then had a short rest on the balcony overlooking the beach before we drove 10 minutes to get to Batemans Bay village centre to stock up on groceries, snacks and supplies before heading back to fill the fridge and head to the beach for a swim. The house has a loungroom & TV downstairs & another loungroom & TV upstairs with 4 bedrooms with a spacious master bedroom upstairs with an ensuit, connecting toilet, a large Queen or King size bed which you can see & hear the ocean from while you're lying in bed. There is private access directly to the beach from behind the house & the back yard is fenced-in so was perfect for our little long haired dashy, the house & yard as well as the beach are all pet friendly so it was perfect for us & I was sad to have to come home. At night my kids & I walked to the beach & found ourselves up close & personal to over 20 beautiful Kangaroos which were all happily minding their own business while eating grass, they're beautiful friendly & just love to eat grass but will hop away from you if you get too closeThere's an outdoor shower on the back yard balcony with hot & cold water which is very convenient to wash the sand off before going back inside the house after a big day swimming at the beach & nice cool airconditioning to relax in at the end of a long hot day. I highly recommend, Thank you!!
We stayed for 4 nights while attending a wedding in the area. Great house for multi geberations to share. Good facilities, we found it ckean and left it likewise. The hosts were forthcoming.with infornation before we checked in so no jeed to contact them during our stay. We will stay here again.

Great pet friendly accommodation with a great ocean view. It was so lovely to be able to relax with our dogs in such a well equipped and comfy house.
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely coastal property.It’s pet-friendly, spacious, and just a stone’s throw from the beach, which was perfect for our family. The house had all the amenities you’d expect from a quality holiday home — smart TVs, reliable internet, and plenty of room for everyone to relax.The views were gorgeous, the location was spot on, and everything felt easy and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and communication was excellent throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay here again.
