Built in 1836 by John Hayden—a local jeweler, ship captain, statesman, and abolitionist—the Hayden House on Washington Street in Bath is a simple yet elegant example of the fine 19th-century architecture for which the town is known. Tucked behind the main house with its own private entrance, the Guest House reflects the refined character of the property while offering modern comforts and amenities.
The Guest House features two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a cozy living area, and a full bathroom with a newly renovated walk-in shower. Guests also have access to the backyard, which includes a fire pit, grill, and small lawn—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Most of the time, the primary home will not be occupied at the time of rental. -Both bedrooms are located off the main living area, in the back of the guest house - there is a door that closes between bedroom area and living room for added privacy. -1 Full bathroom with walk in shower -There is a church across the street with a bell that rings every hour. The guest house is located in the back, but white noise machines are provided in each bedroom for sensitive sleepers.

No dogs are allowed at this property.
