"We had extended family ranging in age from babies to great grandparents and there was enough room for all of us to be together and enough private spaces when we needed to be apart. The hosts did a great job of communicating and trying to make us feel at home and providing us with pertinent property information. Most of the beds are comfortable, sofa sleeper not so much, but that is to be expected. At this house we had a great time bonding as a family. We put together a ping pong tournament, the kids had a polar plung challenge in the cold morning lake and we loved the old school pacman games. Great place to get away!"

"We had such a relaxing stay at the Battle Lake home. John was so inviting and helpful during check-in and over the Memorial Day weekend- so much as to help get us an extra baby monitor because ours stopped working! Our small family stayed for the extended weekend - it was perfect and spacious for just us, and a couple game nights on the patio with other visiting family. Nestled on a quiet street overlooking the lake, we were just a few steps away from downtown Battle Lake and even enjoyed a quick stop for ice cream at Granny’s Pantry. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!"

"This home was a perfectly in-between location for our group to go biking up to Glendalough State Park, and then using the trail into the town of Battle Lake to enjoy the shopping, restaurant and brewery. The trail was directly behind the house, perfect access to hop on! The home was furnished very nice and suited our group of 6 wonderfully with 3 nice size bedrooms. We didn't cook much there but it looked like there was adequate dishes and things to cook with. We didn't have the best weather for sitting outside (it was very windy and terrible bugs), and although the wrap around deck was nice, there were no deck chairs and the shrubs were overgrown onto the built in seats on the deck, so sitting on them wasn't possible, but it wasn't an issue as we didn't use the deck. The host was very responsive with a few questions we had, overall we really enjoyed our stay in the area and we would certainly visit again."
