"We had such a wonderful family vacation! The property was a pleasant surprise. Water wraps around about 3/4 of it, making it feel so private, with beautiful views, sunrises, and sunsets. We also loved the easy walk from the house to the water with no big hill.The fishing was amazing! There’s plenty of shoreline to fish from, plus a well-lit dock. We caught many fish including nine fish over 15 pounds and several measuring 24–30 inches! The fire pit area was wonderful, with plenty of firewood and even a separate pile of kindling. We loved making s’mores there.The screened-in porch was perfect for enjoying nature without the bugs. Especially nice to be outside on a rainy day. Just outside is a separate patio with a table and two cozy rocking benches. We saw deer and even a bald eagle near its nest across the pond!Inside has a cozy, rustic feel with original wood floors and ceiling beams, but updated bathroom showers & great water pressure. There are two bedrooms with queen beds, plus another room with two daybeds and trundles. The kitchen appeared well stocked, and there’s a washer and dryer, TVs in every room and great Wi-Fi.The owner provides fishing poles, six kayaks, life jackets, inner tubes, croquet, cornhole, games and more. Check-in and checkout were easy, the owner was easy to reach, and we appreciated having outdoor trash cans rather than needing to take trash off-site. So many thoughtful touches made this a wonderful family getaway. We’d love to return!"

"Took my grandkids to this house for Fall Break from school. They enjoyed fishing from the yard/dock AND the snacks that were provided! There are games and some books in the house. The house is very pretty and beautifully decorated. It is located on a small inlet off Lake Wateree. Bedding was comfortable. The king master bedroom is lovely! There is AMPLE parking for multiple vehicles if needed. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard. Hayley was easy to work with and helpful."

"This was our second stay with the same property owners in one of several homes they rent in the same cove. This time, we didn't need 3 bedrooms this time, so my wife and I booked this 2 bedroom (used one to put our bags in and the other to sleep in). This one is more updated than the other - both were cozy, but this one feels more modern. There's even an electric fireplace, which was nice to use when it got chilly in the evenings. We love the location bc it's only 20min or so to downtown Camden and to Walmart, Marshalls, Chic-fil-A, etc. Having the boat launch right next door is so convenient. And, if you don't want to use that one, there is a public launch right around the corner (maybe 2 mi or so and you don't have to get back on the main road to get there).Hosts have always been nice, responsive, and accommodating. We'd definitely stay again!"

"The cabin was great. We love the set up and the teenagers loved that they could stay in one side and the adults in the other side like they had their own house. It was an amazing view of the lake and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely go back."
