Bring your fishing poles and life jackets and walk 25 yards to the 3-acre private lake outside your front door. Fish from the shore, enjoy the paddle boat, ride in the canoe, or hike in the nearby woods.
This private, peaceful, wooded retreat is located on 17 acres and offers a wonderful connection with nature and your family.
We’re located 2.7 miles from Burgess Falls State Park, 5.3 miles from Window Cliffs Natural Area, and 7.2 miles to I-40 Cookeville.

Connect with nature and unplugging for a few days. (WIFI is there, tv in the living room with a DVD player and a variety of movies are provided for your use if you choose, and a tv in the Master Bedroom) Our Verizon cells work in various areas on the property.

    LIABILITY WAIVER:
By renting our property you are agreeing and acknowledging that there are inherent risks involved with boating, hiking, poison oak, outdoor bugs and critters, walking on a "dock" with no rails, stairs, and campfires that could pose a potential danger for adults and children. Children must be carefully supervised at all times at the water and there is NO SWIMMING in the lake. If you use the boating vessels, we strongly recommend life jackets to be worn.
By renting our property you are agreeing and acknowledging the potential risks and agree to accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may occur to you and others in your party, and waive any claim whatsoever against the owners for accidents or claims arising from these activities.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Caney Fork River is the main source feeding into Center Hill Lake. Falling Water River is another major tributary into the lake on the south. Our property backs up to Falling Water River, which is located 120 yards from the front door.

Listen to the stunning variety of birds nearby, enjoy the geese that often decide to take a short vacation on our lake, and watch the Purple Martins swoop in and out of their home as they reside on our little island. We are so thankful for these beautiful and beneficial songbirds. It took several years before they decided to occupy our birdhouse. You'll also most likely see occasional deer wander through our property. And we hope you'll enjoy the solitude of sitting by the firepit, and getting in touch with the country surroundings.

This refuge is our place of family gatherings and solitude. It's a place where we can unplug and enjoy nature...and social media takes a back seat for a few days. Since there are times that we can't fit our family gatherings into our schedules, we decided to offer our property for others to enjoy also. It is our hope that you feel the peace and togetherness of family that we feel.

This was a perfect location for visiting surrounding waterfalls. Wildlife was abundant. Fish were caught. Sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars was so relaxing. The kids had a great time with the peddle boat and canoe. The welcome cake was delicious. Hosts were friendly and attentive. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a little escape from the hustle and bustle. And would definitely come back to explore different places if our plans permit.
Burgess Falls (I think this is the middle fall). We saw someone get engaged at the main falls.

The views at this place are stunning, peaceful and relaxing. Such a great place to unplug and enjoy nature. We so enjoyed our moonlight paddle boat rides and breakfast and coffee on the porch. The host made sure we had a great stay, and provided an apple cake that was amazing for our stay. Remember to bring your charcoal if you want to grill and extra K-cups if you’re a coffee drinker. So easy to get to Center Hill Lake, we enjoyed taking our jet ski up to Burgess and Francher Falls. If you do not have a boat or jet ski, we did meet the wonderful couple that owns Dabbling Duck Charters who will gladly take you by pontoon boat to the falls. So book here and enjoy a peace of Heaven’s Artwork just outside the front door!
