Tanner Bldg Apt 11 - 2 bedroom (Downtown)

Summary:
Built in 1867, the Averill Block is consider the oldest continuous use commercial building in the State of Michigan as well as the oldest building in downtown Bay City. The 12 ft ceilings and 8 foot tall windows allow for a light and airy feel. Located steps away from everything in downtown Bay City, you can simply park your car for the weekend and walk to everything.
All communication will be through the booking channel (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, MisterBandB). Access to apps or email is needed for all notifications and communication.

Two bedroom walkup apartment with a full kitchen

You will have access to your own two bedroom apartment.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of downtown, you are steps away from shops, eateries, and a conference center. The area is known for being safe and easily walkable. Wenonah Park and Bay City's river walk is less than a block away where many Downtown events take place, including seasonal and major concerts, Riverside Art Festival, Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival, Bay City Fireworks Festival and so much more. We're also near the Bay City Downtown "Feet On The Street" block closures in the summertime, where there is extra seating, free wellness classes, shopping, music and more.

Getting Around:
Park your car and enjoy your river walk from Downtown to Uptown. Many historic neighborhoods East of Downtown provide walking tour.

Other Things to Note:
We provide passes for on-street parking or in city lots nearby.

We do not allow dogs, and Michigan law prohibits the smoking of any substance (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and e-cigarettes/vaping) in short term rentals used by the public. A $200 additional cleaning fee will be added to your stay.

There are security cameras located at the front door and in the hallway of the building.

Great spot!

Great spot! Loved the historic building. Place was clean and in a good location downtown. Lots of restaurants and antique stores nearby. There are some stairs to get in. But if that’s not a problem for you I’d highly recommend!

Cozy spot

This is a nice apartment surrounded by other rental units. There is adequate seating, and the beds are comfortable. There were four of us staying for 3 nights, and I wish there had been more than 2 large towels provided, and ice trays and baking sheets for cooking, but other than that, we had everything we needed. Thanks!

We enjoyed the stay. Nice thoughtful touches. Water bottles and cola in fridge. Folding stand for suitcase. Only negative was the stairs. This was clearly advertised. I like the comfortable bed. Extra room. Thanks.

Excellent Stay!!

My spouce and I with another married couple came to Bay City to attend a wedding. My wife and I visited once before and stayed at the double tree which was a very nice hotel. This trip we decided to stay at the Tanner building apartment 11 and totally prefer it over the hotel. The host Adam was very helpful and the check in was effortless. The building and apartment are beyond cool and we were plesantly suprised there were a few waters and softdrinks in the frig dor our arrival.The high ceilings and exposed brick really made the place pop, plus it was well decorated and clean. The AC worked great and the kitchen area was perfect for our group. We didnt have any issues but it is worth noting there are 2 flights if stairs to the room which could be a challenge for some. Do yourself a favor and book this room. Bay city is a fun place to shop, eat, and enjoy the area activities.
