"This was our 3rd time staying in the Owls Nest Cabin and once again it was a wonderful experience. The cabin is so cozy and the perfect size for our family of 4. We spent a good amount of time relaxing on the dock and enjoying the many outdoor activities. The hosts are so kind and answer questions almost immediately. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and we hope to come again!"

"This is a beautiful property. The room was clean and spacious. My family had a great time walking around the property and playing mini golf on-site. The room had everything we needed. We would stay again. "

"Walking into the cabin and seeing the view from the living room was amazing! ... a beautiful sweeping view of a cow pasture on the hillside and a mountain ridge. Fireplace with provided firelogs and electric candles on the mantel made for a relaxing evening. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Little touches like the couch cover, ball and petwipes for dogs was nice. Carol even provided dog bowls and makings for s'mores! Rooms and bathrooms very clean with nice private views thru the woods. Watching a pileated woodpecker and a red-headed woodpecker while breakfasting was special. Would definitely stay there again, and I'd like to see the cabin in other seasons. Decks with rockers were nice, although the weather turned cold when we were there so I couldn't sit outside for long. Our family of 4 adults 1 dog stayed there April 5-8, 2026. "Room description not accurate at all!! We booked a room with what we thought was a balcony but it did not have a balcony. It was a raised porch on front of building with no seats other than a wooden bench not suitable for sitting to enjoy the outside. There was a picnic table over near the steps. This was a shared porch. The breakfast was nothing more than limited grab’s go. Not even edible the muffin case had stink bugs laying around the outside. This made it unappealing to want to eat anything from breakfast bar. I think the marketing department needs a to make some adjustments to descriptions. "

"House was clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet location and perfect for our family of 4 humans and one dog!"

"The property was great and well kept! We only had a few minor issues. There were 2 broken chairs in the dining room. We planned to use the grill but there was no propane tank and it wasn’t listed online that we were required to bring our own. Also, the tv downstairs was not working. "

"We were unfortunately sick most of our stay. The host, Shelly, was so amazing and even helped us find another rental nearby when we unexpectedly needed to stay in town another night. The place was cute and very well kept. The patio out back was so nice and peaceful. I plan on coming back and will definitely book here again. "
