"I booked several rooms for our wedding group. They "lost" one of our reservations and charged us significantly more than the Expedia rate just to get our guests into a room. The staff attempted to charge money on multiple days claiming they forgot to charge something else, etc. They do not offer breakfast regardless of what Expedia says. One of our guests walked into their room to a strange man going through their suitcase. I would not recommend and will not book the Mint for any other annual trips to Isla."

"This was such a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very friendly & always helpful. The location was in the heart of the island, on Main Street, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend! "

"Breakfast is toast, orange juice and coffee. Not a full meal but a snack to get started. Great fridge. Wifi was good. Nice pool and warm. "

"While the location is absolutely beautiful and the resort has great potential, there are several areas that require significant improvement. Communication from the concierge team could be more proactive and responsive, especially when addressing ongoing issues during a guest’s stay. The property itself is in need of updates and renovations. The pool, for example, was noticeably dirty with an unpleasant odor, and the wooden seating within the pool is deteriorating and chipping, which poses both a comfort and safety concern. During our stay, the water service was shut off 4 out of 5 days, which created major inconvenience. Additionally, our bathroom was not functioning properly and would not flush, leaving us in unsanitary conditions for several days. The lack of warm water further added to the discomfort. While the service at the restaurants and bars was excellent and truly appreciated, the beach area was often left unmaintained, with seaweed accumulating and not being cleared until guests began cleaning it themselves. I would strongly recommend that management implement routine walkthroughs of all common areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction. This property is in a stunning location and has so much potential. I would love to return in the future once improvements have been made."

"We have found our home on Isla Mujeres. We have been traveling to this island for 25 years. We've stayed at many different places - but the search is over. I am afraid to say this - because there are less than 15 rooms - I want it to stay my little secret BUT I have to say what a fantastic stay we had. Right from the initial contact with Alexander Castellanos, who manages the property, everything went smooth as silk. We stayed in room 11 which was right beside the wonderful pool. We had 2 Queen pillowtop beds. The A/C worked perfectly, there was plenty of hot water for showers and the kitchenette was nice to have. We appreciated the large fridge and the coffee maker. We discovered this property accidentally last year while walking to North Garden for breakfast. This little oasis is tucked in between North Garden and Grill Garden (if you know you know....) and we were hooked at first sight. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach. The beach club at the end of the road will give you 2 chairs and an umbrella for $450 pesos for the entire day. There is great food for lunch and great drinks for sale right there. Our days consisted of walking to the beach for the morning - until it got too crowded for us - and then coming back to our little sanctuary pool for the rest of the day. There were 4 of us and every day we had the entire pool to ourselves. There were rafts available to use and it was SO relaxing and peaceful. HIGHLY recommend this little gem."
