The cabin was a great getaway. I love that they supplied fire wood for the fireplace. It's definitely off the beaten path with a great view. We would definitely stay there again.
Thank you Liz. We adored every minute. Love your home and the trails to the river. Our kids enjoyed the tree house and rope swing cant wait to come back!!
We had an amazing time. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed the property and the lovely Delaware river.
Thank you for sharing this special place!
We really enjoyed the place. Liz was a great responsive host. The cabin was clean and the location in the woods on the river was great! Saw plenty of wildlife and enjoyed splashing in the river and using the kayak. No cell signal, so be sure to take screenshots of instructions and directions before getting there.
Beautiful Location for a secluded anniversary weekend. The house was well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. The wooded property was amazing, and we loved the trail to a deck overlooking over the Delaware. Even though it was a chilly weekend we still spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the eagles. Hope to visit again soon.
It was a quiet cabin in the woods. A little off the beaten path but if your looking for a quiet get away this is the place. There are a couple of good restaurants in the area.
Cabin was very clean and well equipped. No TV but the Wi-Fi was very good to watch your shows on a laptop or tablet.
Had a very restful week.
We were so pleasantly surprised with this property. It was everything that it was pictured to be. Nestled in the woods close to the river off the beaten track. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is well appointed. We love walking through the woods down to the river, and it was quite lovely to have firewood at our disposal. We would love to rent this property again.
What a wonderful place! My partner & I loved the Knoll! The house was cozy, and the porch was perfect to watch hummingbirds. We also saw three eagles from the deck on the river. The nearby town of Narrowsburg is quaint, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. I would love to see it in the fall too. We'll be back!
Cute cabin in the woods, no frills- exactly as described. Clean, comfy, well equipped kitchen, secluded. The snow/ice made the road going in a little difficult, and the yard/deck by the river unusable-- but we expected this going in February. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, even in the chilly weather. Tons of puzzles and games, ( NO TV, but great wi-fi for those that need). We had a very peaceful escape from reality.
What a wonderful stay at the Knoll!! The cabin was perfect and had every amenity I could need. The property is so much fun to explore and my dogs had an absolute blast. The observation deck is a dream to sit and watch the river and rafters go by. Highly recommended to pack water shoes for getting down to the river. The porch at the cabin was the ideal spot to watch for birds and I spotted at least 25 hummingbirds and the woods were filled with chirps all around. The bedrooms were comfortable. We will certainly be going back.
The property is very nice. The rules were very easy to follow. The house was extremely clean and we left it the same way we came. We cleaned up very good before we left. Put all the dishes away silverware. All the appliances were great. The upstairs fireplace was good. It really warmed up the house nicely and it provided great ambiance. We did not try the wood stove downstairs in the basement.
We all enjoyed the peacefulness of the property- it was clean an very personable with nice decorations -
The back roads to the property was a bit narrow in places. Our only complaints would be the walk down to the river was not the greatest could use some work to make it a bit safer to get there & back, also a bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms would have been nice. Otherwise we had no issues and had an enjoyable time.

Rustic rafting trip
Was here for a rafting trip. Very rustic cabin in the woods. If you need bathroom on the same floor as bedroom this will not work. Once upstairs at the end of the steps you will find bunk beds out in the open and then to the right and left a bedroom with doors on each side.the second bathroom is in the basement ….outside is Tranquil peaceful on the porch enjoyed watching the humming birds everyday. A bit of a slope to get down to the deck but once they’re enjoyed the water view. Very nice wilderness property.i did need to reach out to the host and when i did she returned my call very soon after and was happy to assist.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at this cabin in Beach Lake with my cousins, and the experience was amazing. The location is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the noise of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful scenery with easy access to the lake, which allowed us to enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and hiking in the area.
The interior of the cabin was cozy and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the common areas, such as the living room and kitchen, were clean and well-organized, making our stay very pleasant. Plus, the views from the deck were stunning, a perfect place to relax at the end of the day.
One thing we really appreciated was the privacy and the laid-back atmosphere. The host was very attentive and provided us with all the information we needed before our arrival, which made the whole process easy.
I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or family. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

We really liked the house and outdoor space, especially the patio overlooking the river. The biggest drawback, and for me it is a big one, is that bed sheets are not provided. Since we were driving and had room in the car it wasn't a disaster, but hauling 4 beds' worth of sheets fills a duffel bag, and I did not enjoy having to make those beds after a 7 hour drive. I wouldn't mind stripping the beds at the end but for the cost of the accommodations and how little a house full of sheets would cost ($150-200 on the high side), it soured me somewhat on the experience. Lovely property though and the hosts were attentive and accommodating.
Our family had the most wonderful stay here! Dog friendly was such a great accommodation for my Shepard and jack russell. My 5 year old, husband and myself enjoyed every moment at the cabin. It is truly secluded and the the views at the river are stunning. The river is clear and so beautiful to swim/kayak in, which we did all 4 days we stayed. The walkthroughs to get there are so fun for the kiddos and myself! The house has no AC, but you truly do not need it, as the house stays extremely cool with the windows open, and at night with fans , feels like the AC is on. The house is filled with games and fun things for the kids to do and my little girl enjoyed playing with the wooden fairy doll house everyday and of course climbing the bunk beds, but spent most of our time back and fourth to the river. The fire pit is awesome and unlimited wood makes for fires and s'mores everyday, which we did! I could go on and on about this stay as it truly was a wonderful trip! The Knoll is forever etched in our hearts as our names are in the back wooden table with all the other guests that have come through. What an experience we won't forget!
Perfectly peaceful place. Great for quality time with the family.
We loved the chest of classic games on our rainy day. We loved the sound of the stream outside our window at night. The bugs were not bad at all! Which was an original concern of mine. Neither was the heat! We did have to use the fans provided to air it out upon arrival and before bed each night. We loved the porch and read lots of books we found. We loved the fire pit and used it every night. The privacy was so peaceful. The walk down to the river deck and back was lovely. The kids loved the tree house too. I will say, the walk down to the actual water was a bit sketchy but totally doable. Just a bit difficult to get the boats back up with out some help. Our only complaint was the basement. It was very stale air and the smell knocked us over every time we had to go there to use the washer and dryer. It was definitely not an area we were able to utilize for anything other than laundry.
The house and property are amazing. The house itself was everything we needed, with an updated kitchen and bathroom and was clean throughout. The property is so much better than we could have ever asked for. My kids loved racing through the woods and over the numerous bridges, playing in the tree house, and especially playing by the water. They caught toads on the paths and pointed out frogs each time we crossed the bridge. The deck overlooking the river was the perfect place for us to relax on the rocking Adirondack chairs. It is so private while also enjoying an amazing view of the water.
The water itself was the highlight for me. The family spent days out of the river in the canoe and kayaks that came with the house. The fishing was awesome right in front of the property. An added bonus was the pair of bald eagles that spent their days in a tree right across the river from the deck and often flew right over head as we were on the boat. Truly something I will never forget.
There were so many little touches that will keep us coming back to this house. The ring game on the porch, the fairy princess castle were highlights for the kids. Cannot wait to plan our next trip here.

Absolutely perfect for a cozy winter weekend getaway!
Had an awesome long weekend at The Knoll. The house was perfect. Cozy, clean and very welcoming. The deck on the river was great to sit and take in the view. Got to see the bald eagle who lives across the river. Sitting on the couch watching the fire was a great time. A perfect weekend.
