"We loved every part of our stay at the Elysium. It’s a beautiful hotel. Everything from the room, the breakfast, dining options to the pools, spa and wonderfully helpful staff was just spot on. A fantastic hotel which I cannot recommend highly enough. 30 minutes before my departure, I realised I had lost a pendant. We couldn’t find it immediately but on my return home I received an email to say it had been found and would be posted to me. The hotel went above and beyond, I’m extremely grateful and will be back for sure!"

"otel itself is very outdated, still needs the physical key to unlock the door. However £40 per night for bed and breakfast with 3 swimming pools. The room has a balcony good view of the pool. Close to centre, just about 15mins walk to the mall, surrounded by restaurants and easy pick up point at kfc for day tours. What else can you ask for? The shower is really weak, takes triple the time to finish the shower. Can use the fridge, which is cold enough. If with budget choose this one. If can pay more, choose somewhere else."

"We had a two day all inclusive stay as a treat for my birthday. We had a great room overlooking the main pool with its own kitchen area, balcony and seating area. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We managed to get a table for the special meze experience on our first night. I have had many mezes in Cyprus over the past 30 plus years and have to say this was one of the best I have ever had. The food in the main restaurant was also exceptional with a great selection of choice every meal time, my only minor disappointment was no fresh orange juice in the mornings given this is Cyprus.The staff were very attentive and friendly, the entertainment team tried very hard to encourage guests to join in the many activities on offer. Being early season in April the hotel was fairly quiet but a full programme was on offer including a Cyprus night on the Friday evening which was fun. My wife and I enjoyed a couples massage in the hotel spa before departing so left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. All in all a fantastic break and I would thoroughly recommend the Louis Paphos Breeze Hotel and hope to return again some time in the future."

"Me & my family along with my extended family have been staying at the Helios Bay since 2007 for trips to Paphos. On this trip I brought my Brother as celebrating his 50th. I asked for 2 Single Beds before we arrived and that was all sorted. We stayed in a Room which had a nice side Sea View. I love how the Hotel is still family run. This Hotel is charming & very good value for money. Room was very clean & has updated kitchen & bathroom since my last visit a few years ago which was nice. Room was cleaned daily. We had breakfast included which was very good for the price. Only concern here was the birds getting around the food & on the serving utensils. They have tried their best to stop them but the sparrows as small and get in the smallest of gaps! Thanks for another wonderful stay, Nicos & all his team there are brilliant. Me & my Wife will be back next April to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. "

"This holiday was an extra one for us so we didn’t research much about the hotel/surrounding area. We also travelled out of season in April so A La Carte restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was very cold! Our room was spacious, clean and easy to access on level 1. Took a while each day for house keeping to clean our room (sometimes 5pm) so not always easy to go back to the room to relax in the afternoon if it wasn’t done. Buffet style food everyday, although fresh and nicely presented (especially the salads), did get a bit samey. The walks along the seafront were easy and flat and the bar area by the outdoor pool was kept clean, Natasha one of the bar staff always had a smile for you and very accommodating. Likewise the waiting staff in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful. There was an incident in the outdoor pool and if it wasn’t for a guest member (nurse), there would have been a fatality. No medical equipment (defribulator, oxygen etc) was visible and the lifeguards were not paying attention to the pool, therefore, took ages to respond. The manager Anthony did take the incident seriously and hopefully will now take steps to better train lifeguards and position them for better viewing of the pool (not on the bridge and no mobile phones) It will not stop us from returning or recommending to family and friends. However, we will be highlighting not to rely on other people for safety around any pools."

"We were pleased with the room, the food, the kids club activities, the pools and most of the staff. We found the Odyssey nightclub completed soulless, and it was in the basement with no windows. We were also concerned, if there had had to be a fire evacuation for this reason. There was a lack of communal areas - only the lobby, which was full. The kids club room also had no windows, and a smell of cigarette smoke wafted into the room. However, we enjoyed our holiday and the kids loved all the cats and the kids club staff in the resort. The exercise activities were great too (the gym was tiny though, and the exercise needed replacing). "

"We had a nice stay here. Lots to do and plenty of sun beds. However my husband got very sick a night before we were due to leave. It turns out there were a lot of other guests experiencing the same vomiting and loose stools too after chatting to a few other guests. I reported it to the front desk but not sure if anything will be done to protect other guests from getting poorly. The only other little negative comment I’d make is about the fact our balcony didn’t have any outside light so we couldn’t sit out there of an evening. Food was good and lots of variety. "
