Swiss-Style Dog Friendly Chalet w/ Hot Tub

"Nice that we could bring our doodle with us. The house could be updated though. The kitchen was older. The pots and pans and whatever else that was in the island were just thrown in, not organized at all. The ping pong table appeared to be broken. The King size mattress was horribly uncomfortable. Sinks in bathrooms, toilets, and shower were older and needed updated. We thought we were getting a swim dock with this property but it was for the whole neighborhood to use. We were allowed to use the tennis courts but they were locked. It was doable but we have rented in Deep Creek many times and feel this house wasn’t worth the money spent."

"The place was amazing for our Bach trip! Very cozy and with plenty of room to spread out. We spent most of our days near the hot tub or connecting our tubes to the boat dock and enjoying the lake! However, we used every part of the place including the living room for game night and the top deck for a crab feast. It never felt like we were bored of the space:)"

"The house was beautiful, comfortable and had a fantastic view of the lake. We had no complaints with the house at all and give the house and dock a definite 5 stars. Our only complaint would be that we weren’t made aware that there is a small cabin on the property that was undergoing construction. It wasn’t relaxing to drink your coffee at the same eye level as the guys working on the roof next door. I’m not sure how much of that is under the owners control but it would have been a nice data point to have when choosing a rental."

"Location was lovely, and the fenced in yard was great, but I’m not sure If describe this property as lakefront compared to other Deep Creek properties I’ve rented. the lake is visible through the trees, and yes you get a dedicated boat slip, but it didn’t feel lakefront per se. Also be very mindful of how steep the steps are to the lakefront. Older dogs / people with health issues likely can’t navigate. That said, the property was very nice and clean, and the neighborhood was great. I just feel like it was a little bit of false advertising."
