"Conveniently located just outside of town and near the airport. We took an excursion to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and it was inky about 30 minutes away. Property was clean and you can order from the onsite barista. The only problem is there was no complimentary drinks or food out anywhere."

"We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this house, especially for families traveling with kids and pets.The location was fantastic—about 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City, 40 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, and only 15 minutes from Costco and Meijer. It was easy to get just about anywhere we wanted to go while still coming back to a very quiet neighborhood.The house was exactly as described and perfectly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was laid out nicely, the grill worked great, the temperature stayed exactly where we set the thermostat, and there was always plenty of hot water. The mattresses weren't amazing, but were still better than many hotels we've stayed in.The backyard was one of our favorite parts. It's large and fenced, which was perfect for our dogs, and the fire pit with firewood available was a great touch. The neighborhood gets very dark and quiet at night, making it excellent for stargazing. We even saw a fox in the neighborhood and a deer right next to the driveway one night. So cool!The hosts were awesome and very responsive. They also recommended a few fishing spots for my son, which worked out perfectly and was really appreciated. After a very minor glitch during check in which took 2 minutes to sort, we never had to contact the hosts again, but I have no doubt that they would have been responsive if we had.Overall, this was an easy 5-star stay and a great value compared with many other options in the Traverse City area."

"This lake and property are lovely! The sand area and fire pit were well used. It was comfortable and with 2 levels which gave us a quiet area and active areas. It was on the high end for pricing. Nonetheless, good for what we needed. There were plenty of dishes for our large group, yay! We cook so large pots, pans and serving dishes are scant, but we managed. (No food storage containers.)"

"The location of property was perfect for enjoying all Traverse City tourist activities and retreat to a quiet home in a scenic location. The house was well equipped and included the use of their kayaks on the peaceful, huge lake. Communication with host was very quick. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning units on both floors kept things comfortable. Having full size washer and dryer on site a bonus. Only recommendation for upgrade would be to add a dishwasher. Also, ceilings upstairs are lower than normal so if you are very tall, just know this going in."

"We just left our weekslong stay at Farmhouse Therapy. We enjoyed every bit of this property from the pool to the lake to the ping pong table. It worked out well for our family of eight (dogs included)…..another bedroom and bathroom would’ve helped, but there were plenty of beds overall. Joe and Kelsey were great hosts, providing plenty of the extras (towels, paper products and kitchen essentials). We’d stay here again!"
