"Modern facility. Large fully equipped rooms. Good selection at breakfast. Across the street from Culinary institute which we booked for excellent dinner."

"Disgusting and we refused to stay there. Although it’s not in a bad area, we did not feel safe. Property had obviously not been maintained in a while, grass was overgrown. Garbage in lobby was overflowing, floors were dirty. Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to tell them we weren’t staying. Refunded our money and said we had to go through Expedia to get it processed because that is who we booked our stay through. That night the hotel recharged the credit card and, because they don’t answer the phone at the front desk, Expedia said they can’t do anything because they can’t confirm what happened. Five days later they put a $14 charge on my credit card as well - we have no idea what that was for and they deny it but it’s listed on my statement clear as anything."

"Travelers need to be aware that there was NO STAFF available during our two night stay. Exterior and interior locks were controlled by keypads that required quite a bit of dexterity to actually open; the doors needed to be pulled into alignment before the codes were entered. There was no number available for guests to call if there was an issue with the hotel. The stairs to the second floor lacked an adequate handrail. The location on Main Street in Beacon was convenient."

"Had a five night reservation made months in advanced. Absolute disaster. They overbooked and understaffed and had no room for us, we were left stranded after 2 days of travel. Lobby was dirty and smelled terrible. Staff was of no help whatever, and he said we were the 15th paid reservation he had turned away that evening. Inexcusable."

"Facility was open 1 month. Rooms were well kept,,,bedding & bathrobes -top shelf. Room had adequate closet space ,,,,but did lack drawer space. Very large bathroom --but 2 sink vanity was on the small side. Staff was good, helpful & pleasant (some waiter service, needed more "seasoning". Town of Beacon very nice ---plenty of nice restaurants & pubs. Overall a very good experience."
