"Very convenient to shopping and gas stations, although there isn't a lot to choose from for shopping being a quaint, adorable town with friendly, helpful natives. Very typical of an older motel but super nice people running it. On 9.26.26 the front section was being repaired but this did not cause any noise or inconvenience. It's a little thing but an ironing board and iron would have been appreciated. I would definitely book there again. Super clean!!"

"We absolutely loved staying in Pamela’s house. She was an amazing host- communicating constantly about the Nor’easter that was hitting while we were there. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplaces after being out touring during the rain. It’s in such a great location! Only an hour from Bar Harbor. We only wished we could have taken advantage of the beautiful deck. It was raining most of the nights so we were unable to sit out. We will definitely return!"

"The cabin is so beautiful inside and out. It is very clean and well equipped. The hosts were prompt at responding and so very helpful. The cabin felt very private and secluded. We saw deer, turkey's and had an adorable porcupine that visited every evening. We would definitely stay again."

"All in all, a unique and picturesque cottage. Loved waking up to the sounds of lobster boats making their way off offering an authentic Maine experience on Beals Island. As a horticultural person, I cannot say enough how stunning the short Seaduck Trail just minutes from the house is from a botanical point of view - a wet forest in all its beauty. (Of course, one of the most special preserves on the East Coast is right here - Great Wass Island, but because you cannot hike with dogs, we were unable to hike there). Beals Island is a quiet residential community and does not offer the usual touristy options, which we are trying to avoid! Therefore, a beautifully decorated, yet homey cottage (with a land boat to boot) really suited us. We had tranquil quiet time and great explorations throughout the region. We also appreciated the library of maritime literature and local guides and the well-stocked kitchen."

"Beautiful and quiet location. We really enjoyed the ocean and seeing both sunrise and sunset. We heard lots of wildlife and enjoyed the privacy. The home isn't kept in the best condition. Torn linoleum and screens. Wobbly dining table (which my son tightened) and worn deck boards and railings. Disorganized and not always clean kitchen utensils and dishes."

"We had a great stay at the Stagecoach. The cabin is fun to stay at. It is not far from Acadia National Park. There were a few restaurants nearby including Scovils Millside Dining which had good food at great prices. The cabin was very, very clean. The outside shower was very cool. There was a picnic table and fire pit. The host met us there and went over all of the amenities and how everything works. We loved it."
