Waterfront Norris Lake Gem, Sleep 11, Dock, Fire Pit

"This home was absolutely stunning! A very clean and quiet space. There were some small things that added up. The ramp to walk out onto the dock was under water. So we had to walk a good 10ft out, with our 3 kids on the submerged ramp to get to the dock and onto our boat. The internal slip of the dock was broken and had pieces in the way so the boat had to be parked on the outside of the dock. Both coffee pots were broken, the Keurig did work (had to go get pods for that). The ice machine did not work and the air hockey table was also broken (missing a prong to plug in). The fire pit area appears to be under construction and was sightly covered in weeds with part of what should have been a closed off area, not closed off appropriately. Overall, this was a perfect place for us to stay! Beautiful property. Host was great! Just can’t give it a full 5 starts due to some of the smaller inconveniences."

"Truly a hidden gem!! The pics from Vrbo are true but do not do this property justice. You’ll have to just go & experience the beauty & serenity. We would have loved to explore the barns but understand the liability. The property is littered with beautiful trees, butterflies, frogs, flowers, & places to sit to enjoy different scenes - we even had a hummingbird visit. Secluded & quiet yet minutes to the lake. Inside was very clean, comfortable & included all the amenities we needed. We would love to stay here again!"

"The Lakefront House and the surrounding grounds and access to the lake are fantastic. The house itself is beautiful and well kept. One of the best we have visited. The easy access to the lake is one of the best we've had out of 15 years of staying at Norris Lake. Also, being able to access Open water right off of the dock is very convenient. Overall 5 Star On the downside, I would say that the space to park a Tritoon boat on the dock is very limited. We may have had 6 inches on either side and had to use multiple buoys to keep from scraping against the dock and hydro hoist attachments. That made it difficult coming back to the house after boating. Maybe a professional would have an easier time. My only suggestions would be to provide towels. With a family traveling it's hard to pack a bunch of bath towels. Minor inconvenience. Overall I loved the house, the setting and access to the dock and Lake. I would definitely love to stay here again. "

"Beautiful property that we would definitely come back to! Relatively easy walk down to the dock compared to most houses. Easily fit the 10 of us. Admittedly we overlooked the amenities section despite repeated reminders, so make sure to bring your own bath towels. It is convenient to be able to leave boat trailers at the house, as well as how close the launch from Deerfield is to the house as well. The jet ski slips were key in choosing this house for us."

"Lovely views of the lake from the condo! We enjoyed the Waterside Marina community. There are stairs to get into the unit and up to the master bedroom. It was not a problem for us, but may be important for some. Kitchen had most of the cookware tools we needed. We enjoyed our stay!"
