All in all it was a great stay. I spent the weekend there by myself to grieve for my daughter who I lost a month ago. It was the most peace I’ve had in a long time.

It would have been nice if the cabin had its own bathroom. The permanently stuck door that looked like a bathroom and the tv that wouldn't turn off and had no way of flipping channels freaked us out when we arrived at 3 am. Still the cabin was comfortable and everyone was lovely. If I could afford it, I would live in the writer's cabin for a month.

Clean and convenient to exploring the Gorge
Lago Linda was a very nice place to stay. We were in the Anderson house, no frills but very clean and cozy. The hosts were very nice and helped us replace some lightbulbs that were burned out.

Beautiful and quiet. Very scenic and secluded. Great for a weekend getaway. The particular cabin we stayed in was hard to get in and out of due to the hills but its doable. Definitely should have brought our own food bc its a winding 15-20 minutes to town for anything to eat. Very rustic experience. We had an overall good time. I'm sure its a popular spot in the warmer months. It was exactly what I was looking for though.

Great and affordable stay
We rented the Anderson for Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed the property and took hikes around the lake. Enjoyed taking kayaks out of the lake which were free to use. The Anderson is perfect for two people, queen size bed, bathroom and a mini kitchen with the essentials for cooking. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor area. The setting is private and beautiful. This was our second trip to Lago Linda. It’s a beautiful property with hiking trails that lead to a waterfall. The Lake is gorgeous! We will be back again, this is our favorite place to stay near Red River Gorge. Friendly Owners and staff!

We stayed in Writers Cabin for 2 days while hiking the Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge area. Convenient ,quiet location with excellent owners. Could use new couch,but bed was very comfortable! My weak bladder required a few trips down the steps to the bathroom, so will look for place with bedroom and bath on same floor next time. Food was offered there but we had taken our own to cook. No nearby restaurants or grocery stores so plan accordingly. Beautiful area!!

We really liked the bunkhouse. It was inexpensive but comfortable. It got down to about 30 degrees (maybe lower), but there was a space heater that kept the cabin warm. Cabin was pet-friendly. Breakfast is provided for $5 right on the premises, so there's no need to try to find a restaurant before heading to the gorge!

Just a little negatives
I like that everything is together and they have all this cute extra stuff outside like fire pits and stuff but we were only there one night so didn’t really get to enjoy that stuff. The only negative I will have to say is we stayed in he bunk house The negatives were on two of the comforters there was what looked like blood spots so I didn’t like that and then there were spider webs in the Crevices of the bunks I mean I understand it’s a camp ground but I feel like if you know someone is coming to stay the day before you could wipe that out. But other then those little things it was a nice stay and it was cheap as well ♥️Also there is no TV it may say that in the Scription but I can’t remember.

The camp is located on a very quiet, beautiful piece of property. Roads are a little rough, but otherwise fine. There is also tent/rv camping on the property, so if you are travelling with family, there is room for lots of people.
