This charming abode enjoys a prime location that is walkable to front street shops and restaurants, Taylor Creek, and all downtown Beaufort. Beaufort History Comes to Life

Still Standing is a gorgeous Beaufort property that made for an excellent family weekend. The home is cozy, the kitchen is well-appointed, and the location can’t be beat. We walked everywhere and enjoyed our time there immensely. We will be back!

Beaufort Boaters

The house was a great location - close to the public dock which made boating very convenient. We enjoyed the more traditional North Carolina style of home while providing up to date amenities.

3 Day Getaway With Friends

The layout of the house was perfect for 2 couples with enough gathering space but also separate bedrooms/bathrooms allowing for good privacy.

Lovely home for a weekend in Beaufort

We had a great weekend in Beaufort despite some gloomy weather. The house was well suited for our needs and allowed a friend visiting from out of town to have her own space away from our rambunctious and early rising children! It’s a quick 3 minute walk to the shops on Front St. We would definitely stay here again!

Ideal!

Golly, we loved this house! Such a perfect location, a lovely street and a dreamy historic home! It accommodated ourselves and our four young children very well. Anytime we ran into a (minor!) issue the rental team was responsive and courteous.

Great house-crummy service.

The house is one block off Front Street so you can’t beat the location. Kitchen has all the stuff you’d expect. Draw backs include a patio in dire need of weeding, 4-5 water bugs throughout the week and a highly frustrating back and forth over a broken ceiling fan that never was fixed during the week we stayed here.

This house was in the perfect location. We were able to walk to Downtown Beaufort and enjoy the stores and restaurants. The house was very clean and the check in was easy. My friends and I went there for a relaxing girls weekend and enjoyed every bit of it.

Historic Charm

Beautiful house in a beautiful area. Driveway is difficult to navigate in a larger vehicle. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of extra linens. 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom is not in the main house, its in the carriage house.

Lovely old historic home centrally located. Very clean and well appointed. Overall we enjoyed our visit. There were, however, some problems. Several doors in the house either didn’t stay closed or wouldn’t stay opened… a hinge problem I suppose. There were no house directions so we had to make several calls. The main TV took about a 45 minute phone call to try to get it to work… we finally figured it out ourselves. The bedroom tvs didn’t work at all. The 2nd floor bathroom is odd in that the fixtures are all on a step up level from the main floor. As we are seniors this presented a somewhat dangerous challenge using the room. The shower/ tub could also use grab bars. Nate finally returned our call to inform us about our departure responsibilities. If these issues are addressed the house would be perfect

Family Vacation

The check in process was not good at all. We were set to check in at 4pm. No one notified us that the property wasn't ready. When we got there, beds were not made and place was not clean. The cleaning crew came up shortly after we arrived and so then we had to leave so they could get the place ready for us even though it was already almost 5pm by then. Ceiling fan in bedroom downstairs was broken (one blade missing). There were bugs (lots of them). When you sat outside on the patio, you could see them crawling on the side of the house and into the openings. We also saw some inside of the property. We contacted management and asked to be moved because there were so many of them but was told there wasn't a solution. They did send someone out two days later to spray and put out traps which appeared to help some with the problem. This house could be a great property if taken care of properly. Light bulbs need to be replaced, ceiling fans fixed, regular bug spray (obviously) and the yard is in terrible shape. Weeds and bushes grown up in the back yard which probably adds to the bug problem. The outside trash cans were also full. The property is in a great location. It's a shame that the property is not being managed as it should be. My advice to the owners would be to find a new management company.

Senior Friends Trip

We enjoyed staying at this lovely house. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The beds and linens were wonderful. We were disappointed in he limited dining out choices and found the new downtown paid parking system troublesome. Loved our sunset tour on the ‘Waterbug’ and seeing the horses
