"We had great stay. It was a bit tricky to find our way in because of the pedestrianisation of the street where it is located. Despite having booked a parking spot, we were not given instructions on how to go about passing the electric bollards until we called the hotel on our second trial. But we were then given clear directions over the phone whilst traveling which was a great help. Despite the fact that like many places in France there is barely not many restaurants open on Sundays and Mondays...

"This is a quaint small hotel with breakfast included. The man checking us in was very polite and friendly. He advised us on parking (city parking nearby and at the port just a couple blocks away) and about restaurants and tourist opportunities. Our room was quiet and efficient with good bedding. "I was travelling with two small dogs and a car full of stuff for my house rental. The hotel was safe and the garden was fabulous for the dogs. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. I had a great room and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. All in all it was a great overnight stay and I may very well go back there on my return. "

"A wonderful stay from start to finish. Hotel is immaculate, spotlessly clean and nicely designed. Our room was extremely nice and clean and looked after 2 adults and 2 children easily. Facilities are excellent with use of spa and pools. Location wise the hotel is perfect, extremely short walk to 2-3 beaches and a 10 minute walk to the town centre for lots of restaurants etc. Our stay couldn’t have been better, highly recommended."

"We were allocated a room with a large bathroom for a disabled person as we wanted a groundfloor room and it was the only one available. The bedroom was in consequence a little smaller than others, but still acceptable. We enjoyed having BBC World TV We were surprised to find the restaurant closed for the weekend after Friday lunch. A bistro in Perigny ran by an English woman did a light meal but there is no full restaurant in the vicinity. This did not bother us as we intended to eat in the centre of La Rochelle or out at St Martin de Ré. "
