Among the chestnut, the cottage (former "Clède" chestnut drying) is sunny (South) from 10am in the morning. The shadow of the wooded garden will protect you from the heat in the day having the opportunity to swim in the river or enjoy the silence around the house wherever you wish. Nearby, at the end of the road, start loop in family hiking trails.

If you want to get out of the rush, this remote guesthouse is a good oportunity to stay at. Lovely outdoors. The hosts are very pleasant and gave good tips beforehand as for the stay. The house itself was specious enough and had everything we needed. It is suitable for a couple and two kids. We had a lovely time.

Lovely stay on quiet hill in the chestnut woods

We had a lovely stay in this cottage on the hill, from which we took walks in the beautiful surroundings. Along the paths we smelled rosemary, lavender and thyme. Wild cherries, prunes and mulberry. Chestnut trees. Plus the dog of the neighbors is a great playmate.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour,avec notre petit garçon de 2ans et demi, dans le gîte de Suzanne et Henri. Le logement est très agréable et les environs magnifiques ( la rivière à proximité est paradisiaque)Nous gardons de merveilleux souvenirs de ces deux semaines. Diese urige Wohnung ist wunderbar gelegen und man spürt sofort, dass hier schon viele Gäste herzlich willkommen waren. Der Schlafraum der Kinder war angenehm kühl, hatte dabei aber etwas den typischen Charme älterer Häuser. Eine Wasch- oder Spülmaschine gibt es zwar nicht, doch die Vermieter haben uns sehr unkompliziert angeboten, die Wäsche für uns zu erledigen – ein schönes Entgegenkommen. Der Kontakt war stets freundlich, wenn auch eher zurückhaltend, vermutlich bedingt durch die Sprachbarriere. Wir hatten aber eine sehr entspannte Zeit.

schöne Unterkunft

nettes kleines Haus, mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, wunderschöne Lage am Berghang, 10min mit dem Rad runter zur erfrischenden Flussbadestelle (und 25min wieder rauf), etwas abgeschieden aber in akzeptabler Nähe zum nächsten größeren Ort Joyeuse wo es wirklich alles notwendige wie Supermarkt, Bäcker, regionale Spezialitäten usw. gibt. Wir haben schöne Fahrradtouren und Wanderungen direkt vom Haus unternommen und eine sehr gute Zeit verbracht. Gerne wieder!

Un petit coin de paradis qu'il faut mériter ...

Le gîte correspond tout à fait à la description faite sur l'annonce. Endroit très calme au milieu de la nature ardéchoise. Les hôtes sont accueillants et même s'ils restent discrets, sont aux petits soins avec les estivants. La région est splendide et regorge de merveilles. Seul bémol pour certains (surtout moi !) : les 3,2 km de montée sur un chemin étroit et sinueux mais heureusement il y a peu de circulation et les gens du coin s'arrangent toujours pour laisser passer les vacanciers peu habitués à ce genre de conduite... (ce qui explique mon titre : une fois arrivé au gîte, on a bien mérité ce coin de paradis). Un grand merci à Suzanne et Henri.

Très belle région, belles balades, accessibles aux personnes peu entrainées. Le logement est un peu loin de l'alimentation il faut donc prévoir.. Les propriétaires sont charmants et accueillants. Dommage que la vus soit bouchés par de grands arbres, on voit pas la montagne du logement.

Gîte au calme, hôtes charmants, la route est un peu compliquée pour les gens qui n’ont pas l’habitude, mais c’est le charme de l’Ardèche. Il y a des coins de baignades à découvrir pas loin avec pas trop de monde.

Agréable séjour en Ardèche

Suzanne et Henri sont des hôtes chaleureux et très accueillants. Environnement très agréable. Fraîcheur de la maison et du jardin appréciables l'été. La rivière, à proximité (4 km) offre divers lieux de baignade très agréables. Idéal pour une semaine au Vert. Attention, l'isolement du logement rend la voiture indispensable.
