"Overall, the hotel is very good – the facilities are excellent, and the food was outstanding. However, one of the rooms we were given was extremely small, to the point where it felt like a design mistake by the architect. Additionally, since it was summer, it got quite hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel itself is very good. We had an excellent breakfast which was reasonably priced and had plenty of choice. The young man on reception was outstanding; friendly, helpful .... and he sorted out our TV! The bathroom in our room was very good, super shower. We had a comfortable bed and were grateful for the air conditioning. The only disappointment is what we can see out of the window...... "

"I couldn't have asked for a more lovely place to stay in wine country! The room was excellent, walkable from the train station and the historic downtown area. Breakfast was unbelievable. "The hotel is stunningly beautiful. MANY stairs. Not at all accessible for anyone unable to walk. Pool is lovely. We were provided with robes and slippers to wear down. The wine bar has a good selection with varying prices. We had the Santenay, Grand Cru. Staff were extremely polite and professional and spoke English. Parking was on the street a short walk from L’Abbaye."
