Great Location

Bobbi was an amazing host. She checked in with us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was the perfect size for my family and was in a great location. We were close to the park and some great shopping. We enjoyed our stay!

Excellent place to stay. Very comfy for the three of us. While there are three bedrooms, you have to go thru bedroom 1 to get to 2. The jack and jill bath is only accessible from bedrooms 2 and 3. Very convenient location to Historic Fayetteville - amazing restaurants. Also very convenient to rafting (Adventure on the Gorge), the Bridge Walk, and Canyon Rim locations of the park. The house is well equipped! Although we never prepared any food, the kitchen seemed well stocked to handle any task you may have. The covered porch on the side is perfect for shade and rain protection.

Great location for Outdoor access

Very nice property near New River Gorge NP, Babcock and Hawks Nest State Parks. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all our inquiries. Would highly recommend this place for a outdoor getaway.

First time to area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fenced yard was perfect for our young goldendoodle. The house was clean, thoughtfully equipped and pleasant for a long weekend stay in Fayetteville WV. We enjoyed dinner on the back deck, coffee on the covered front porch , an afternoon on the yard swing and an evening around the fire pit.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay in Fayetteville. The house was close to many attractions and restaurants. The best part was having all the little things you don't want to pack or buy, but my still need, like zip lock bags and plastic wrap.

Perfect getaway!

The house is perfect for a long weekend getaway! Cozy house with all the amenities, great porches and views of the sunrise! It felt like everything was close by - rafting, hiking, eating, shopping, the Summit! Bobbie was so helpful and had great suggestions for thing to do in the area. Already looking for a time on the calendar to plan another stay!

House near the bridge.

The house is very nice inside. Great for visiting the Gorge bridge. It is not in the downtown city area but very close to food and easy to get to the main travel roads.

Quaint and cozy

My family and I had a great stay. We visited WVA for the rafting and this was a perfect location for us. We were within minutes of our rafting destination and only a couple of miles from town. The house was very clean, well stocked and Bobbi was readily available if needed. Thank you for the great stay!

We found the property to be just as described. Location is very convenient for visits to the New River Gorge NP and local State Parks. Owner was very responsive. We recommend this rental property when visiting this are of West Virginia.

Peaceful home away from home

The most well furnished and clean home we’ve stayed at. Bobbi had everything you’d ever need. Great communication and easy to deal with. Huge fenced in yard perfect for your fur baby. If you Visit The new river gorge area I’d recommend staying at this house every time.

Hike&raft New River Gorge National Park

Nice and practical place centrally located for the National Park and rafting activities we planned. Also a good location for access to restaurants, grocery and other stores. Only downside: only the one bathroom which was good enough for two but more than that might lead to a challenge. For a similar trip I would go back. The property is very pleasant inside and out.

Lovely house and great location!

My daughters and I stayed at Bobbi’s home for our first trip to New River Gorge National Park. We could not have been happier! The home is so clean and comfortable — the central air was a treat — and it is so close to downtown Fayetteville and all the national park activities. Bobbi is by far the most responsive host I have ever met. I would love to return to NRG NP, and when I do I would absolutely stay at this home again. Thank you so much Bobbi!!

Cozy and lovely in great location

This property was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. It’s only minutes away to New River Gorge and all the hiking we’d planned. The house not only had everything we would’ve needed for cooking/grilling but was filled with really thoughtful touches like a snack basket and was so cozy and comfortable after a long day of hiking. The large sofa was perfect for lounging. I also loved hanging out on the bench swing and we also enjoyed the large back deck. I would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area. Our dogs also enjoyed the huge yard!

Wonderful experience

We stayed here for the weekend to go whitewater rafting on the New River. Location was perfect! Less than ten minutes away and very close to the cute downtown area. Bobbi was an extremely gracious host and provided everything you might need, including toiletries, snacks and bottles of water. The yard was so pretty with a beautiful weeping willow tree and fire pit which we enjoyed in the evenings. Bobbi was extremely responsive through the entire process. We will definitely stay here again the next time we go rafting!

Like being at home

All VRBO's are supposed to be like home. This one was home. The small things were there. We had ordered a pizza, and there were gallon baggies to put leftovers in. It is the small things. I can HIGHLY recommend staying here. Super homey, clean, close to everything, and Bobbi was great.

Rustic stay near Fayetteville and New River Gorge

Great communication with the owner, Bobbi. Had everything needed, so much so my wife thought this must be someone’s full time home. Large yard for our dog and we used the fire pit both nights. Not an issue for us (married couple) but if the other bedrooms are used, there’s only one Jack and Jill bathroom. Again, fine for a couple or a small family but probably not get for larger groups in spite of the 3 bedrooms) Recommend for small groups.

Perfect location for hiking adventures in the New River Gorge

Loved being just minutes from Long point trail and the Canyon Rim visitor center to launch so many beautiful hikes. Really only at the cabin to shower and sleep so have no complaints. Our host had lots of helpful information ready for us and it was great to have morning coffee before heading out for sunrise hikes. Only little things we would have loved were some wall. hooks, luggage racks and Kleenex …. But still, perfect for our needs… would stay again. Oh and tho this has 3 bedrooms, id say it is best suited for two people given there is only one small bathroom!

Very clean/nice little house

The house and property were very clean and had every amenity imaginable. It was very comfortable, especially when we were winding down in the evenings and watching movies. The house is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. (Try El Bandido if you're in the area!) Bobbi is phenomenal! Top notch customer service and communication. The only 'issue' we had was the road noise at night (mostly in the front bedroom), to which we may be overly sensitive to since we do not live near any public roads.

Very comfortable & cozy home

This is a nicely appointed, cozy and comfortable home just a mile or so from downtown Fayetteville, which makes it convenient to access any of the recreational areas or restaurants. Bobbi is easy to reach and very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised by the snacks and coffee provided. There were plenty of towels and blankets and a laundry room as well. One note is that the yard is not entirely enclosed with fencing, the driveway is open. Good to keep in mind when planning for dogs.
