Just stayed for one night driving by. The place was nice staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Had a nice mountain view. Maybe hot tub can use more bubbles.

Ice in the parking area making it difficult to transit in and out of your vehicle. 20 degrees outside during our visit. No heating in the elevators = 20 degrees when transiting throughout the building. Ran out of liquid bath soap and NO conditioner. Only around 1/4 inch of shampoo, for some reason. We take it that they do not care to keep their customers safe and comfortable throughout their stay. Plus, a congested breakfast area with sub-par food selection = crappy 'breakfast' that they provide. Guess that is why it is 'free.'

Short staffed or poorly managed?
We were hopeful as we usury like this pet friendly chain. We also choose it for the hot free breakfast. Perhaps they are short staffed but the breakfast food ran out at 8am and we waited another half hour for eggs. The coffee ran out and a few apples were all for the fruit. We usually have a better experience and hope our next two Hampton Inns are better managed on this trip.

The staff can make or break a stay, and at this hotel everyone I encountered made my day! Friendly, helpful, and just nice people. We did find an "ecosystem" growing in the microwave from some pizza that a previous patron must've forgotten about, but I am capable of throwing things away :), and I could easily see how that could be missed by cleaning staff. I would stay again in a heartbeat though.

I’d stay here!
Very nice hotel. Clean, affordable. My only issue was I can in later in the night and absolutely all food services were closed. This has nothing to do with the hotel, just something to think about those who are coming in in the later hours.

I debated a long time about choosing this hotel which cost over 200 for the night over others I could have gotten for 70 cheaper. I chose to pay the extra amount because I like the chain and always had good experiences. I regret the decision. There were a few bugs in the bathroom ( looked like flying beetles) I took one I had killed to front desk to show them when I checked out. First the lady was rude when I turned in my key. Didn’t make eye contact, smile or ask how room was. Just said “ bye”. I then showed her the big I had killed and told her I was sure the hotel wanted to know. She dismissed it, said just looked like a lightning bug That was all she said. Again no eye contact. And fyi there was no one in line or at the desk. Definitely not worth over 200 dollar night stay— wasted money.

We had missed communication with Expedia. Receptionist at Hampton Inn was so patient and helpful , even after two hours waiting in the lobby wirh our dog, she manage to resolve this issue and put us in most beautiful and comfy room .
