"If you are looking for something a little different, this is the place for you. The shared spaces are fantastic (beautiful plants and decor), plus there are 2 beautiful outside spaces: backyard with hot tub and sauna; large rooftop patio with lounge seating and fantastic view. There is a large shared kitchen area, which is well stocked. I was surprised that there was even a bar area, where you can purchase alcohol. A welcome snack awaited me, plus breakfast was served at the time I asked....

Top Beechville Hotel Reviews

Delta Hotels by Marriott™ Halifax Downtown

10/10 Excellent

"Location was good. Breakfast at the hotel in the morning was good. Would recommend."

Chateau Bedford, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

8/10 Good

"Cleanliness was fine. What we found disappointing was getting a text and an email at 8:00 in the morning asking us when we expect to check-out. Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. and we had just come back from breakfast. At a hotel like Chateau Bedford you expect an elevated experience. But this didn't feel elevated at all, it felt unwelcoming and rather tacky. As an aside, we asked for a 6:00 a.m. wake-up call and it actually came at 5:00a.m."

Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I was not happy that they had a Halloween party at the hotel on Saturday night which was very loud and when I came back in the evening the parking lot was absolutely overflowing with cars and I could not find any place to park. As a paying guest I should have had access to park. I complained to the front desk but they just said they were sorry but couldn't do anything about it. I was very upset about the situation and think more should have been to accommodate me or give me some credit for my inconvenience. The hotel seemed more concerned about the party patrons rather than the paying guests."
