Un petit coin de quiétude

Malgré une météo capricieuse et une tempête Nelson de passage sur deux jours, nous avons apprécié cette maison bien équipée et chaleureuse, très bien située en bord d'estuaire de la Gironde, à proximité des châteaux et domaines viticoles, des bacs pour Royan ou Blaye, des plages de Royan, etc. Accueil très sympathique et prestations au top.

Das Ferienhaus ist frisch reno...

Das Ferienhaus ist frisch renoviert, sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche, in der wir täglich mit den tollen Zutaten aus der Region gekocht haben. Für eine vierköpfige Familie ist viel Platz, neben 2 Schlafzimmern, Bad und Küche gibt es ein großes Wohn–Eßzimmer, einen Eingangsbereich mit Lager–und Abstellmöglichkeiten und einen sehr gepflegter mittelgroßer Garten. Das Haus ist direkt an einer wunderschönen Flussmündung der Gironde gelegen. An diesem Mini–Hafen, "Port de By", liegt genau ein Boot... Besonders reizvoll: bei Ebbe liegt das Boot auf dem Trockenen und bei Flut ca. 3 Meter höher. Unsere Kinder fanden dieses tägliche Schauspiel faszinierend. Die Gegend ist absolut ruhig und charmant, ganz in der Nähe ist ein Weingut, "Chateau de By", welches Weinproben anbietet und hervorragenden Wein zum direkten Verkauf anbietet.Von den Inhabern sind wir sehr herzlich begrüßt worden, sie haben uns noch vor Ort gute Tipps gegeben und während des Aufenthalts Hilfe für Notfälle angeboten. Insgesamt war es ein traumhafter Urlaub, hier waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal! Reisetipps: Reisetipp: unbedingt über Bordeaux fahren und die Fährüberfahrt von Royan nach le Verdon vermeiden, auch wenn es kilometermäßig ein riesiger Umweg ist!!! Die Wartezeit auf die Fähre beträgt mehrere Stunden, in denen man quer durch Royan geleitet wird. Strandempfehlung: Soulac sur mer
