Magnificent new villa (2018) in modern style with a splendid view of the sea, the bay of Sa Riera and the Mendes Islands. In a modern atmosphere, you are invited to feel truly free of everything and to recover. The house is located on the outskirts of the small town of Begur in a quiet area 950 m from the beach of Sa Riera.
Private swimming pool (3.5 x 8 m) accessible from May to October and garden 150 m2
On the main floor, at the garden level, you have the living / dining room and the open American kitchen as well as a bedroom with private bathroom.
On the lower floor, there is a double bedroom with its private bathroom, and 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom and separate WC.
All rooms have air conditioning or heating.

Beautiful modern and clean property, with great facilities. The views to the front are awesome, and the rear garden pool and terrace are great for relaxing in the sun and sunbathing. The location is also good for an envogorating walk to and from Begur centre, or down to the beach in Sa Tiera. Communications with the owner Benoit and the local host Marta were also excellent.

Stunningly beautiful

The house was just perfect. Great accommodation for our whole family and very well equipped kitchen including Weber gas BBQ. The views and the pool were just awesome. Our host was so welcoming and helpful. We'd love to stay again.

Perfect

The house was ideally located for beaches and cycling. It was very well equipped and perfect for extended family with children - we could all be in different parts of the house and have our privacy and come together in communal area. Sa Riera villa

We have had a very pleasant stay in this nice and fully equiped house. Next to this the view is breathtaking. The only (little)problem is the grass in the garden, due to local limitations in sprinkling it is very dry.

THE HOUSE IS VERY NICE AND WELL MAINTAINED. LOCATED IN GOOD AREA WITH A NICE VIEW. WHAT WE FEEL COULD BE IMPROVED ARE THE STAIRS FROM GARAGE TO HOUSE NOW IN WOODEN BEAMS WHICH ARE QUITE STEAP TO WALK AND THE SWIMMING COULD BE HEATED BY INSTALLING SUN BOILER PANELS ON THE ROOF .. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS SUPER

Nice villa

This is a nice well-equipped villa with access to nearby beaches and also to Begur itself which is a beautiful old village. Fabulous view down to the sea. Only three adults in our party: if as originally planned there had been five of us, there wouldn’t have been enough comfortable chairs in the sitting area. Also there is only one double bed, and the rest are all small-ish singles. Previous guests have commented on the difficulty of getting their car up the steep drive - it is quite awkward but we found it manageable with a medium sized car. Unfortunately you couldn’t really walk up into the village for dinner, as the roads aren’t well lit and there aren’t many pavements. Which was a shame.

We had an amazing time in an amazing home in a superb location. We are very sad to be leaving. Marta, who eched us in was lovely and so helpful. The area is fabulous and the local people so friendly. We will be back.

Modern and cosy with amazing views

We spent a week in La Paloma - 3 adults and 2 children - and really loved the house and interieur, the amazing views, the garden and the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped and our kids also enjoyed the table tennis a lot. We can really recommend a stay. In October the water in the pool was a bit too cold to swim, but swimming in the sea was still possible.

High quality well equipped villa

Super nice villa with everything you need. Only minus is the position on a steep rather windy and dark hillside 15 min hike from Begur and 30 min from the sea - and neither on paths you would like to do in the dark. But we knew that upfront, so no complaint, but you end up needing the car for most activities, and in October spending most time inside. We followed the recommendation and dined at Calau and La Pizzeta, and both were super good experiences. Also for electric car owners there is pretty decent charger at the parking lot 10 min walk from the house giving 40-50kw. It worked 3 out of 4 times.

Wonderful Villa 5 stars

Our family of 6 adults & 1 child (age 6) had the most wonderful time at this villa. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The swimming pool & grounds are superb & we cannot recommend this property enough. The pool does have a big step but everyone in our party can swim confidently so didn’t affect us. The BBQ could be bigger, it’s charcoal which we love & we managed. The master bedroom is glorious & all the beds had very comfortable mattresses. We walked to the beach a few times in the week down the hill. It’s hard work coming back up hill but was our workout for the day! There’s a designated path so you’re not on the road. Equally up to the town was hard work but a glorious town & an absolute must see. The bakers is fabulous which we went to every day. We needed our car for the supermarket as we ate at the villa 6 of the 7 nights & its about a 20 minute drive to Escalat. We were blessed with glorious weather & absolutely everything we wanted from the holiday we got. Communication from booking with Benoit was first rate & Marta looked after us at the villa. We didn’t need to contact her during our stay but the check in & check out was smoothly arranged with her. We have no hesitation recommending this villa

Une superbe maison trĂšs bien entretenu avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et la nature,quasiment pas de vis Ă  vis. Grande maison trĂšs pratique et moderne. Il ne manquait rien. Marta ( la personne qui s’occupe de la villa sur place ),ainsi que Benoist ( le propriĂ©taire ) sont trĂšs rĂ©actifs et Ă  notre Ă©coute. Begur est juste splendide. Certainement le meilleur sĂ©jour qu’on ait passĂ©. J’espĂšre revenir un jour

La maison est trÚs agréable avec une vue grandiose sur la mer ! La piscine est trÚs sympa. Il y a plein de superbes balades à faire vers 18h quand il fait plus frais. Wunderschönes Haus mit super Fernblick

Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit, das wunderbare Panorama, der tolle Pool und die ausreichend vorhandenen Liege- und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Innen- und Außenbereich. Die sanitĂ€ren Anlagen (Dusche/WC) sind hochwertig und sehr sauber. Geschirr/KĂŒchenutensilien sind in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Sehr netter persönlicher Kontakt zu Marta (Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort), sie ist auch wĂ€hrend des Aufenthalts immer erreichbar. Der Treppenaufgang von der Straße zum Haus ist nicht ideal gelöst, hier wurden einzelne Holzbalken als Stufen verlegt, die bei Regen teilweise recht glitschig sein können. Auch die Beleuchtung an diesem Treppenaufgang könnte besser (heller) sein. Die Auffahrt zur Garage ist mit einem großen Fahrzeug (SUV/SAV) fast nicht zu bewerkstelligen, da die Auffahrt wirklich sehr eng und extrem steil ist. Mit einem Fahrzeug in GrĂ¶ĂŸe eines Transporters ist die Einfahrt auf das GrundstĂŒck nicht möglich. Parken an der Straße ist nur bedingt möglich. Leider ist das auf den Fotos im Inserat nicht zu erkennen. Wer es die Auffahrt mit einem kleineren Fahrzeug hoch schafft, darf die breite Garage nutzen, das ist in jedem Fall ein Pluspunkt. Das Objekt ist etwas außerhalb, mal kurz zu Fuß in die Altstadt, zum Supermarkt, BĂ€cker oder Strand laufen, gestaltet sich schwierig. Alles in allem haben wir dort eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht! Haus, Garten und Pool sind in jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

TrÚs satisfait du séjour et de la situation

Petits et grands avons passĂ© d'excellentes vacances dans cette trĂšs belle maison avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et les Ăźles Medes. Nous sommes certainement partants pour un nouveau sĂ©jour Ă  programmer. Le rooftop est un plus qui nous a permis de bien observer les persĂ©ides. Vu la position Ă  flanc de colline, l'accĂšs au bĂątiment via un plan inclinĂ© assez raide suivi d'une cinquantaine de marches ne peut ĂȘtre envisagĂ© pour des personnes Ă  mobilitĂ© rĂ©duite. En conclusion, nous avons Ă©tĂ© enchantĂ©s de notre sĂ©jour.
