Top Belford Hotel Reviews
Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"From Wendy, Nicola and Jude on the front desk, who helped us so much with our car problems and extra nights to be arranged, to the bar and restaurant staff we say thank you for your care and courtesy. The cheerful cleaning staff and the thoes in the kitchens who supplied delicious food. We loved our stay and will highly recommend this hotel to thoes looking for an upmarket venue with a great vibe."
Purdy Lodge
8/10 Good
"Our room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated.. We stayed for two nights whilst visiting the surrounding area.. The Purdy Inn is part of the service station on the A1 and although it was on the main road we hardly heard the traffic when in our room. Slept well the beds were good for us . The breakfasts were lovely..and the cafe attached to the Purdy Inn offered a good range of refreshments 24hrs . The staff were really lovely and welcoming both in the Inn and the service station cafe..there was a nice mixture of ages ...We genuinely can't say anything negative about the staff . We had a lovely young man in the cafe of the service station help us with a dog walking area. Then we had a lovely young lady who served us breakfast 17+ 18th of August . Lovely lady at reception sorted us out with a shower mat. Lovely dog friendly and welcoming Inn. Thank you to all and well done"
Newcastle Arms Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Cozy little area THAT ACTUALLY comes with parking. They have a bar and diner downstairs and also serve delicious breakfast in the morning. All the staff were extremely friendly also."
Alnwick Lodge
8/10 Good
"The granary room was beautiful except that it was 30° during the day and so very hot. The unseasonably hot weather is hardly the owners fault, but perhaps some kind of fan system to bring in cooler air at night would be a good investment."
Schooner Hotel
8/10 Good
"Excellent facilities, excellent food, particularly the Indian restaurant. Friendly and obliging staff. Superb beer garden and good well kept ales. Stairs and landing carpet could do with a makeover, other than that excellent."
