The Space:
NOTE: We do not offer refunds or credit for cancelled reservations due to changes in flights (for dates past the cancellation policy cut off). If there is a possibility of flight changes that may affect your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance.
Please inquire for availability to rent more than one cabin.
Frequently asked questions:
1. Is the hot tub currently open? Yes, it is! We clean and chlorinate it daily.
2. Does each cabin have its own hot tub? No, we have one hot tub rated at a 7 person capacity but 4 is most comfortable. The hot tub is situated centrally away from the cabins and is sunk into the ground and landscaped for a private feel.
3. Does the kitchen have everything I need to cook? Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Everything you need to prepare a meal! There are also two gas grills on site for guest use. And have a number of oils and spices in the cabins for your use!
4. How far are the cabins from downtown Bozeman? We are situated 10.2 miles from downtown Bozeman. Allow 20 to 25 minutes to arrive. 10-15 minutes to reach the Target/Walmart Costco.
5. Do I need 4WD to get to the cabins? 4WD is definitely not necessary to get around. Most of the roads are paved and the county keeps things well plowed in the winter. However, if you are not used to driving in snowy weather, AWD will make it much easier on you, but 2WD will also get you around just fine. However, snow tires do make a big difference.
6. How far from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort? We are abut 27 miles from Bridger Bowl. 40 minute drive.
7. How far from Big Sky Ski Resort? We are about 63 miles from Big Sky. About 1.5 hour drive.
8. How far from Yellowstone National Park? West Yellowstone West entrance is 102 miles. 2-2.5 hr drive. Gardiner, North Entrance is 90 miles away. 1.5 hr drive.
9. How far from the Airport? The airport is 10 miles via Airport Rd - Springhill Rd to Rector Rd. 15-20 minute drive.
10. How far to grocery store and restaurants? Bozeman and Belgrade both offer these services and both are about a 20 minute drive.
11. Which cabin is best for a family? Cabins 1 and 3 offer the most room with a separate bedroom. The other 3 cabins are studios with bed and sleeper couch in the same room. (See photos)
12. Which cabin is most private? All the cabins are situated to provide a private feel. They are spaced about 150 - 200 feet apart and are orientated not to be in each others view-shed. Having said that, cabin 5 is at the end of the line.
13. Do I need to bring firewood for the stove or the fire-pit? No. The stoves in the cabins are gas and we provide wood for the fire-pits.
14. Do I need to bring charcoal for the grills? No, the grills are propane grills and we supply the propane.
15. Can I have my small wedding or elopement here? (I am quiet and respectful!)
No. We have a very strict no wedding, ceremony, or elopement policy due to covenants.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to their cabin as well as either of the two fire-pit/patio areas and the hot tub.
The Neighborhood:
Downtown Bozeman and Belgrade are both about 10 miles away, with plenty of stores, microbreweries, and restaurants to choose from. Hike in almost any direction right from the front door, and drive 40 minutes to reach Bridger Bowl Ski Resort.
Getting Around:
We recommend that guests rent a car. We are about 10 miles from Bozeman, and using Uber can be very expensive.
We now offer AWD car rentals with free airport pickup/drop-offs.
Message us for more info!
Other Things to Note:
We have a very strict NO WEDDING, ceremony, or elopement policy due to our local covenants.

Amazing host. Everyrhing was done to perfection.. the views of the mountains were absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is next level.. just wonderful
What can we say that others haven’t said already? Anything and everything one could need or want for a stay in the mountains of Montana was thought through by the hosts of Ross Creek Cabins. We generally have high standards as far as accommodations go and we were so impressed with every single detail. There’s just too many to list individually. Everything screamed “tasteful and quality” we were in total awe. Incredibly comfortable and we will 100% be returning. This place has just completely raised the bar, we can’t wait to return.
This was our second time staying here and it still continues to impress. Such a beautiful and peaceful location with incredible owners. Thank you for continuing to share your little slice of heaven!
Warm and cozy cabin with a beautiful Montana land scape. So relaxing and we loved watching the horses grazing in the field out side our cabin.
Thank you Karen and Rebecca you thought of everything to make our stay perfect! Mike and Maureen
Our stay at Ross Creek Cabins was perfect. We were impressed by the beautiful grounds upon arrival and the attention to detail carried over into every aspect of the property and our cabin, everything we needed was thoughtfully prepared for our stay. We immediately felt at home and our 13 year olds twin girls declared the place a “W”. We stayed here toward the end of our very busy vacation week and appreciated the comfort and ease to round out our trip. I could not recommend this place more. Thank you to Karen and Steve for bring fabulous hosts!
Wow! We were blown away with the cabin and the Mountain View’s all around! When we first saw the cabins exterior, we were worried that it was going to be so tiny but that is far from the truth! The cabin felt huge and the gas fire place was a bonus! The owners reach out to make sure you got everything you need and if you need anything, they were more than happy to help! We can’t wait to be back! 15000/10 recommend!
This is our second time staying at the property in the same cabin. (I just realized that a couple other cabins have washer/dryer, so I might have to change cabins next time!) It's a darling place, homey and such a beautiful area. It's been fun to see the area change and grow (hopefully not too much!) when we come to visit our daughter and grandson nearby. I love the peacefulness and the stars at night are spectacular! We swear we feel closer to our daughter who passed away when we look at those stars! Thank you for another lovely stay!
My husband and I came out here for 4 nights for our anniversary and this was an amazing property. The cabin had everything we needed and the thought and detail of everything here made it special. The pump house is great and the fire-pits and patio areas were great additions! We went for a couple hot tub adventures at sunset and it was so quiet and a beautiful scene from a picture book. We had a whitewater rafting adventure during our stay and asked the hosts if they had a cooler so we could pack and lunch. They dropped off a cooler within 15 mins of the text! All the small details of this place (soaps, snacks, essential oil diffusers, speaker for music, coffee stuff etc) just made this place more of a chefs kiss 5 star cabin. We will love to come to this place again! Hands down one of our favorite vacations ever.
I rented this cabin for family that was staying in town, and it was perfect! Very cute cabin.

Gorgeous cabin with big sky views
Hard to leave this magical place! Everything was first rate and comfortable with amazing views. Thank you for creating and sharing this dream in big sky country!
Loved every second of this experience. The views were spectacular. The place was very clean and the owners were extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for having us.
The cabin had absolutely everything we would need for a successful stay. Really responsive hosts who were concerned about our safety (traveled in the winter, which is something special!) and provided an innumerable amount of amenities, down to the binoculars! Great proximity to downtown/the airport and stores/dining. We will absolutely be renting with Ross Creek again someday in the summer time to check out Montana with a completely different vibe.
So grateful that we were able to find this amazing, cozy, happy place.
The best rental property I have ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable, modern, private, relaxing, and gorgeous inside and out. Everything you could possibly need during your stay is right at your fingertips- they have truly thought of everything! We were fortunate to meet and spend some time in conversation with one of the owners during our stay and it became one of the highlights of our trip. Great people and great place. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. We will surely be back to stay at Ross Creek Cabins.
5 stars all the way! The cabin was very well decorated, felt super clean, and had all of the amenities we could need. The property manager was helpful and responsive. The cabins are a little bit farther from town than someone people might want but that ended up being part of the charm! Felt very private and safe. The drive to the property is super pretty. Saw lots of wildlife! Elk, deer, birds. My favorite parts of the stay was watching the full moon rise above the mountains and watching the deer from our front porch while having morning coffee. :) Every cabin has a great view.
Big thanks to the whole team that makes this place possible. It’s a true Gem.

This place is a dream!
My husband and I absolutely loved this cabin. We stayed for 5 nights at the start of a trip ending in Park City, Utah and it was the hardest place to leave.
It looks exactly as the pictures show but the views are even more stunning in person. As soon as we walked in the door we felt at home. It was cozy, clean and very comfortable. The decor is top notch and the kitchen had all we needed. We had dinner plans each night we were there but the cabin was so nice we wound up with wine and cheese on the front patio instead of going out to dinner. The company of the sweet well-behaved dogs Tess & Molly made it feel even more like home.
Karen & Steve are great hosts and we had a wonderful time getting to know them. We spent one evening chatting with them for some time but they are not intrusive at all and you really feel like you have as much privacy as you could want even though there are five cabins. The design of the property is so well planned and the landscaping is beautiful.
Montana isn't easy to get to for us but I tell you, we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!
This is one of the BEST cabin property's I've ever been too... on earth!!
The landscaping is immaculate and the cabins are top notch. The cabins were designed with views in mind and (like all the other reviews state), they are very well built and include top-notch amenities and appliances. (Even the iron was a Shark iron).
Every cabin has a private patio with two chairs for couples to relax and view the gorgeous scenery and amazing gardens around the cabins.
While there are five cabins, each cabin feels very private and secluded. Every patio is designed for ultimate privacy.
There is a community hot tube that is also very well designed around the landscaping. The hot tube is very nice with multiple lighting options that allow maximum views of the stars at night. Each cabin includes two robes with two pairs of flip-flops, which can be taken to the hot tube.
The owner/manager was as nice as the cabins he created!! He was actually over-the-top courteous and attentive but also was very conscious on guest privacy.
There are two community fire-pits with plentiful seating. Firewood and a lighter are included. However, we bought multiple bundles in town just to help supply wood for the next guests.
Next to the fire-pits, there are two respective grills and a large table with plenty of seating. The fire-pit/grill ground's also have amazing landscaping.
I spent one night here, then flew to Banff up in Canada. While Banff was amazing, this place was my fav!!!
We loved our stay in Cabin 5! The attention to every detail did not go unnoticed. The views are even more amazing in person! The pump house is the perfect addition to an already amazing stay.
Our little cozy cabin was perfect. Perfectly private and pretty and comfortable. So many little touches that made us feel so pampered. Loved watching sunset and moonrise from the hot tub. Loved the amazing views. Close to all of Bozeman but felt like a million miles from anything.
Hard to describe what I saw and felt when we arrived at this AMAZING property. The grounds are landscaped beautifully, the cabin was impeccably clean with amenities like no other, and the location was remote, peaceful, and absolutely gorgeous !! Grateful for A/C on our August stay and as soon as you open the door, you are greeted with a cabin that smells great, and is furnished with a comfortable bed, snacks, luxury beauty items, and even a Brita in the fridge. I tried sitting on the porch to read a book, but was so distracted by the beautiful fields and mountains and taken by the sense of calm in front of me, all I could do was take pictures and take it all in. The Pump House was a surprise treat and was a delicious taste of local hard cider and beer. This property is maintained like a resort, communication was easy and thorough. I was so disappointed we were only there on our final night of vacation. I didn’t want to leave !!!
