Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice.

We had a nice and easy one night stay- the room had nice amenities and staff was very friendly. There were maybe a couple spots that could have used a better wipe down, some drips on the walls of different colors, but surfaces were all clean. Their restaurant next door was delicious too!

Truly enjoyed our stay at this quiet, four story hotel (with a working elevator). Extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, air conditioned and our queen sized bed very comfortable. The staff very accommodating, kind and professional. Great, secured hotel located in Belize City. Will definitely book again.

The stay was good, the staff kept the place clean and they were very helpful. Carolina and her staff are great. The only negative finding was a smell coming from the drainage system. However, whoever stays there will be comfortable and love the restaurant next door!!!

The staff are great and pleasant, non-intrusive, and accommodating. There is 24 hour security with keyless entry into both the property and the rooms. It is within walking distance to the city and Tourism Village, ferries etc. If you are looking for a resort style hotel, this is not the place. The amenities are basic but exactly what a traveller on a budget needs. There are restaurants all over the place so food is never an issue. The room comes with a full sized coffee maker, microwave, bar fridge and ample dresser space/closet space.

Overall the hotel give me a good impression. The room is in the ground floor and is good for 2 persons. They have a table for me to work on the computer. They have refrigerator and safe deposit box. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I have no issue about the noise from other room or from the street. The Chinese restaurant next to the hotel has good taste food. The only con I have is you cannot go out at night, as advised by my local tour guide and taxi driver. This is a common issue in Belize City.

My experience at this facility could’ve been better. It was not the worst I’ve ever experienced however, the cleanliness was not one of their forte. The water pressure in the room was low and the hot water didn’t last long. I was only provided one hand towel one body towel and one face towel my entire weekend can stay. I did not opt in for the housekeeping option. Wasn’t sure where that was located on the reservation. However, the location was exceptional. The staff was friendly and I felt safe at night being though you need a code to exit the building and enter your room.

A gem in the city

This small hotel offers excellent accommodation and the service is really good without ever being intrusive - it’s neighbour is a well established authentic Chinese restaurant which is perhaps too convenient
