"This is a lovely hotel right in the centre. Lots of restaurants and bars close by, and a few minutes walk to the harbour front. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. Bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The cafe attached to the hotel is really nice for Danish pastries, coffee and tea, and yogurt with fruit and granola. All in all a lovely few nights at the smugglers cove inn"

"Très bon hôtel pour une halte! La chambre était très propre ainsi que la salle de bain, le personnel très agréable. On se gare juste devant. Seul souci la clim qui se met en route toutes les 30min et qui me soufflait du froid au visage, j'ai dû l'éteindre. Puis les voisins qui avaient leur porte collée à la nôtre on fait du bruit jusqu'à 1h du matin. Mais l'hôtel en lui même est très bien!"

"We had a huge suite overlooking the harbour. Full kitchen, comfortable beds and nice bathroom, also cable TV. Very good breakfast at additional cost. Be aware that the hotel does not have designated parking and the street parking is $2/hr between 10am and 5pm if you are in the downtown area. Also lots of stairs. But overall a great stay."

"This hotel is very well managed. It is centrally located on the waterfront with easy access to all the activities and restaurants of Lunenburg. It has some great views of the bay!! "Absolutely beautiful home and property situated on a hill above Mahone Bay. The communication with owners, view, and surrounding environment were excellent. The house had many places within to gather, cook, eat, and relax and we had a wonderful time being together with family. There were also many great activities and restaurants in the area while the home itself was away from the hustle and bustle of Lunenburg in August, which we enjoyed. My one very minor comment is that the second bedroom has 2 queen beds so the house most comfortably holds 4 adults with extra bed space for children. I highly recommend this property for couples and families looking for the beauty and warm hospitality of the South Shore of Nova Scotia."

"Ketch Cottage was lovely and unique, in a tranquil location on the river but minutes away from shops and restaurants. The cottage was immaculate and extremely well equipped, which really impressed my wife the chef, although we didn’t do a lot of cooking as the nearby restaurants and those in Lunenburg were excellent. We would definitely return!"
